The heart rate monitor went flat.
You were officially gone.
'What? Where am I?', you thought to yourself as you awoke in a strange place.
There were other people there as well, laughing in this hot place.
"Hot place? Where on earth could I be that's this hot?", you questioned.
"There is not place this hot on earth!", a voice exclaimed from behind you.
"Then...where am I?"
"Hell.", the girl said simply.
"WHAT? Wait, that means I died?"
"Uhhh yea I guess so."
Tears started forming in your eyes as the realization hits you.
"My family... no no no they were all there... they all were counting on me to make it..."
The other girl sees you crying and feels pity. She wonders how a soft soul like you made it into a harsh place like this. She crouches down and hugs you.
"It's ok... we all let people down at some point whether we want to or not...", she whispered in your ear.
"Yeah... I guess so.."
"Well, would you like to go meet everyone?"
"Sure"
She took your hand and took introduced you to everyone one bye one. Over the months, you and her continued to hang out, and you both ended up falling for each other. Those feelings of guilt and sorrow never left you, but she helped you forget about them sometimes. Of course you missed your family a lot, she would always find you watching over them. When she found you crying she would whisper,
"私はいつもあなたのそばにいます", and give you a kiss.
