Age regression is a coping mechanism often used by people with Tramua. It is done my reverting back to a younger state of mind where which someone behaviors and thinks like that of a younger person.
Someone's age regression can be between the ages of zero all the way into teen years, though most people seem to range between 2-9 years old in there age regression mental state.
I personally range between 3-5 myself <33
