"Get out!" Grace shouted at the man infront of her
"And go where? We're in New York!" He exclaimed
"I don't care just go! You know I thought this was going to be a nice holiday for us" she says with tears filling her eyes
"Grace I swear I'm sorry, she meant nothing." He begs
"Jake get out. I don't even want to look at you" the blonde haired women cries facing away from him
"Fine. I guess that's it then." He says before leaving the hotel room with his stuff
As soon as he goes the broken girl collapses onto the bed crying
Luckily she still had her old friend Monica's mums number in her phone book from when she was a kid.
She dials the number and waits for her to answer
"Hello?" She hears the women answer from the other land
"Hi ms. Geller it's me grace, Monica's old friend. Um do you know where she is?" She sniffles
"Yes, New York manhattan. 90 Bedford street apartment 20" the women replies
"Great thank you" she smiles lightly before putting the phone down
Without wasting a second she grabs her suitcase and exists the building waiting for a yellow cab to pull up.
She puts her hand out when she sees one and hops in "to benford street please"

after about 10 minutes of driving I finally arrive to her apartment. I hesitate to knock for a moment, not sure if it was the right time. After all we haven't seen each other for the past 10 years.
I stand there for a minute until a boy comes running over.
"Sorry I didn't see you there" he apologised taking a step back. He had dark hair and a nice smile.
"I'm Joey" he smirks. "How you doin'?" He asks in a flirtatious way and lifts his head slightly
"I'm good uh does monica live here?" I ask
"Yeah, you a friend?"
"Yeah"
I open the door to see 3 people sat around the small table in the living room. One of them had bright blonde hair, very pretty, the boy had short brown hair, very handsome. And then that's when I noticed Monica, although she didn't notice me at first.
"I'm gonna die alone! I repeat, I'm going to die alone!" I hear the boy whine in the chair holding his knees in his hands.
"Oh chandler stop it! You are not going to die alone, you're only in your 20s stop being a big baby" Monica groans in annoyance.
"Guys?" The boy I had met behind me called to get there attention.
"Joey hi- oh my gosh grace?" Monica asks getting out of her chair and walking over to me
"Oh Monica hi, thank gosh" I cry out
"Honey what happened" she asks taking my hand and leading me onto the sofa next to the boy who was just whining. Chandler I think his name was.
"So me and my boyfriend jake where on a romantic weekend away b-but then" I couldn't even finish my sentence without bursting into tears
"Awh honey" she hugged me.
I wipe my tears before speaking up again. "He cheated on me"
"Aww grace, im so sorry" she sighs
"Actually I think I'm gonna be the one to die alone" i remark to the boy who was complaining
"Hey, perfect match" I hear the blonde whisper to chandler
"Oh I'm sorry" the boy says in a sympathetic tone.
Monica gets up to go to the kitchen then he moves closer to me.
"I'm chandler by the way"
"I'm grace" I smile weakly
"Yeah I figured" he smiled as I let out a small chuckle
The other boy Joey comes and sits next to me while his foot rests on the table
"Hey if your every in trouble you can always come to Joey. Me and chandler live just across the hall, and he's away a lot" he winks
"Joey seriously she's just been cheated on and your hitting on her?" Chandler asks in a serious tone. Chandler was different to his friend Joey. He was sweet, kinda shy and very handsome.
"What so there gotta be rules or something?" He shrugs eating his sandwich
Monica comes back with a bottle of wine and 5 glasses for the people surrounding me.
"So this is chandler, whoes quite annoying, Joey whoes quite slow, pheobe whoes just- well she's just pheobe". Monica smiles
"Nice to meet you all, sorry for my crappy entrance" I smile
Just as I say that two more people come into the apartment
"Grace?" They all yell at the same time. I look behind me to see two more of my childhood friends.
"Ross! Rachel!" I smile going up to them and hugging them both
"Great now I gotta get two more glasses" Monica groans getting out of her seat
"Long time no see huh" Ross said as he and Rachel walked over to the living room
"Yeah I missed you guys"
"Awh missed you two gee" Rachel hugged me. That was a nickname only she had been calling me since we were teenagers
"So what made you come back?" Ross asked as he sat down on the chair opposite pheobe
"Oh I'll tell you two later, I don't want to get to tissues out again. It dosent end well" I sigh
"Well I think I'm gonna go it's pretty late" chandler says standing up
"Yeah me too" Joey says
"Goodnight" they both say
"You too, new girl whoes name I've already forgotten" chandler jokes walking towards the door.
You scoff at him "well I don't remember yours either"
He smiles before walking out of Monica's apartment
"Can I stay here tonight?" I ask
"Yeah of course honey, as long as you need" Monica smiles
"You can stay in my room" Rachel says
"Thanks rach, I think I'm gonna go to bed now, I've had a long day"
"Of course hunny, the room on the right" she smiles
"Night you guys"
"Night gee" they both smile back
As soon as my head hit the pillow I was fast asleep.
