Female lead - Gauri Kumari Sharma (22) aka Shrenu Parikh (28)

after enduring childhood leukaemia. Her older brother gave her a bone marrow transplant. She works in an office and is destitute. Her brother extorts her, her parents abandon her, the corporate boss torments her, her senior places blame on her, and she cheats on her partner. She is possessed by the antagonist from, which she read two days before she passed away, after her older brother kills her.

Even though she is a villain, she was happy to marry into a duke's family and was relieved that she wouldn't have to worry about money like she had before. However, she soon realised that no matter how hard she tried, she would never be able to escape the villain's original story, so she continued to fight to avoid being killed by her husband.

Gauri has been reliving the same events from the novel while posing as the character for the past 12 loops of the book, where Gauri starts her journey as the obsessive Villainess.

Male Lead - Omkara Oberoi (25)

He is the younger brother of the original male protagonist.
The Oberoi family's second son, he and his elder brother, have a romantic relationship with Ishana Rathore.
However, political constraints force him to wed Gauri Sharma, an enemy family's daughter.​

Although he despises Gauri greatly, he gradually grows fond of her because of her unique nature, which dispels the rumours he has heard.​

Ishana Rathore, antagonist (22)

She was the protagonist of the novel and went by the name Ishana. The five volumes of the book include everything from Ishana's early years to the side stories in which she plays the duchess and is married to Veer Singh Oberoi.
But the novel's original author has taken possession of the character.

She named herself *I*
because her pen name began with *I* and she had long since forgotten her name after such a lengthy regression. She is not affectionate or loving.

She is fixated on leading the ideal main character's life and has no love or compassion for any of the other characters.
