the moment those post went up, hazel's phone exploded. people were happy for them, others not so much. it didn't matter to hazel though cause they finally got what they wanted. someone who deserved them, dominic.
they heard the front door close and smiled, he was here. "princess" he called out. they use to think the nickname was corny and gross but out of his mouth, it made them melt.
they ran out of their bedroom and into the living room running towards their boyfriend. the fact that after everything, meeting dominic, him peaking their interest, the talks the two had, the linger touches, the secret crush, pining for him, after it all, he was theirs now. theirs to love and to protect and to hold.
hazel held his face in their hands, observing him and taking in everything he was. they smiled before pressing a kiss to his cheek and looking at him. "you're so pretty bubbles" they said and the man gushed. bubbles was a new nickname they concocted for dominic.
it was silly and cute and represented him perfectly. it was also the nickname their grandmother had called their grandfather sometimes. they'd never admit but secretly they called him that because hazel wanted their future with dominic to mimic their grandparents, an everlasting love.
dominic pressed a kiss to their nose before picking hazel up like a bride and making his way to their bedroom. when he made it he placed hazel down on their bed, hovering over them as they lied below them.
his gaze made hazel feel warm inside, they reached out to him pulling the man on top of them before wrapping their arms and legs around him. "what are you looking at me like that for" hazel asked, they weren't stupid but they had the tendency to be shy.
"you know why i'm looking at you" he replied calmly and hazel rolled their eyes causing dominic to chuckle. "you're my angel, that's why i'm looking at you." he continued and hazel started to blush. he placed small kisses all over their face and relished in the fact that they were melting into him.
