"uh can I walk you home?" Bob ask as you two walk out of the restaurant and he starts locking up "we stayed alittle later then I thought" you look at him alittle nervous, he must of took it the wrong way cuz he seemed to be disappointed "uh yeah I get it nevermind, sorry" your grab his hand as he starts to walk away "no id- I'd like it if you would thank you!" You blush as he turns back to you, he smiles at you "ok then" you two start walking to your place, In the cold night, 'stupid me! He's going to ask to come inside and see my mess of a house!!!' a gust of freezing wind hits you, you neglected to bring a jacket due to fear of running late, you haven't had a car for awhile because everything is so close, everything but that diner ironically enough..."uh do you want...my sweater?" You look up at him surprised "UH?! No I couldn't! It's your sweater man" he laughs slightly "I'm actually kinda sweating in this thing" he takes it off and drops it on your head laughing, he wears a black shirt underneath, the sweater is huge on you but thankfully fits enough that it doesn't drag on the floor, however it still looks like a dress or robe on you "you look ridiculous haha" you blush and laugh with him, you guys walk past what looks almost like an abandoned house but Bob pauses "would you be ok with waiting for a second" he grabs the sweater off of you "I need to get something" he slips the sweater on, it takes you a minute but you realize he live in the house "o-oh! Yeah that's alright!" You say shivering already from the cold "I won't long, I promise"
He quickly goes inside. 'he lives here? I don't want to judge, I just hope everything is ok really ónò' he comes out with a much smaller sweater "HERE! It uh shrunk at the Landry mat I uh haven't really done anything with it but if it fits you can keep it it'll be perfect!" You smile excited "yeah!" You quickly slip it on, it fits loosely but just enough for a sweater, like a size up from what you usually wear, "i love it!" He smiles "I'm glad you like it" he smiles at you for a second,lost in thought before clapping his hands "welp, let's get a move on, we gotta get you home." You nodd smiling as you walk down the porch steps and wait for him at the bottom before you both continue walking...you finally arrived home and got up to your door, Bob seemed awkward all of the sudden, "well uh, I hope you had a good night, I uh-" before you could stop yourself, before you thought of the mess, the state of your house you say the thing you dreaded more then anything "would you want to come in?" You blush at what you said "I uh- I don't know it's pretty late, we don't have to" you stumble, you don't want to be a bad friend or idk date person? But it's such a mess "really darlin, you don't have to invite me in, i understan i-" before he can finish his sentence you hug him, he's so warm!!! "What uh...what's the hug for?" You blush looking up at him "Thank you, and I'm sorry, usually I would invite you in really but my house is a mess, and i didn't want y to think its cuz i don't like you or something!!!" He blushes and you smoosh your face into him to try and both not cry and to comfort him, he smiles blushing at you he holds you head and kisses the top of it "thank you so much darlin, I had a great time, I hope you did too, how about we call when I get home and we can text in the morning ok?" You nod your head face still buried as he gives you another head kiss before saying you goodbyes again, you watch him through the window as he walks away and you can't help but feel bad, you kick down you pile of laundry in shame....
