"Why am I here for this? I thought I was meeting you and Ari for lunch?" I ask.
"You are, but she wanted you to come and listen to this song," Victoria says.
I sigh at this and sit down on the plush couch of her home studio. I flick through my Instagram and Twitter. Answering tweets and deleting raunchy DMs sent to me.
"Yung Miami slid in my dms." I say.
"What did you say? What did she say?" Victoria asks.
"She wants me to feature on a song with her. We wanted to discuss it over dinner, " I told her.
"I'm sure she does. You going to respond?" Victoria asks.
"Can't. I'm going to be on tour with you all. Ari's manager already came to mine to join the tour." I tell.
"What about my tour?" Ariana asks, walking in.
"Yung Miami slid into Y/N's DMs," Victoria says.
"What did she want?" Ari asks, looking at me.
Her body language showed indifference, but her eyes showed jealousy.
"She wanted me to feature on a song with her. Wanted to get dinner with me to talk about it." I tell.
"You told her no, right?" Ari asks.
"I don't know Ari. Seems like a good opportunity for her. I think she should take it." Victoria chimes in.
"That would interfere with the tour," Ari says.
"Not if she goes back when we're traveling. Studio time for Y/N takes nothing. She'll probably only need one session to complete the song, " Victoria says.
I hum at this but don't say much. I was still scrolling through my DMs.
