Authors note: this one shot is going to involve two different episodes where Stella is hurt and Kelly takes care of her after the episodes that I am talking about is season seven episode two and also most recent one of the season 11 episode 10, so I hope you like it

General pov: a couple days ago. It was just a normal day for the firehouse 51 clue then they got a call to a pretty big highway fire, for a while everything was going good. Everybody was doing their job, knocking out the fire and getting people out of the building. Stella didn't get her air tank filled and passed out from the smoke in her lungs but luckily, Dr. Rhodes was able to save her left lung where she can still be a firefighter now it's a day Stella is getting discharged from the hospital

K= OK here is your stuff that you said you needed
S= why thank you babe
K= it's no problem, so did you get the shower you wanted?
S= yes I did. It felt so nice.
K= I bet it does, so have you signed all the discharge papers yet
S= not yet but I think the nurse said she will bring them by soon
K= that's good to hear
S= yes so did Boden let you have a couple more days off
K= yes he did. I'm yours until next week.
S= that's great to hear also wow you were at the firehouse did you do the other thing that needed to be done called saying sorry to Herman for yelling at him and blaming him for not having my back in the fire
K= yes I did and he told me he understands why I was mad at him and he accepts my apology and he will try harder to watch her back next time
S= well that's good to hear but let's hope there isn't a next time
K= oh yes, let's hope so
CR= knock knock hey guys
S= hey Doctor Rhodes
CR= oh come on you can call me Connor by now, so how are we doing Stella?
S= I'm doing well, especially after taking a shower
CR= that is great to hear
K= so since you are here, Connor, where is Stella discharge  papers at and how soon can she leave after she signs them?
S= oh, come on Kelly leave Connor alone
CR= it's no big deal to Stella but to answer your question Kelly I have them right here so here you go Stella
S= why thank you Connor ( signs them )
CR= it's no problem and to answer your other question Kelly you guys can leave now Hey nurse, you can come in now to help with Stella's discharge.
N= so are we ready to go?
K= we are pretty much
S= OK I'm ready but I can walk out of here. I don't need to be pushed in a wheelchair.
CR= I'm sorry Stella but it's hospital policy that you have to leave in a wheelchair and you can't walk out on your own
S= OK fine

Once Stella gets into the wheelchair, the nurse also to the exit while Kelly brings the car up. Once he does he helped Stella inside the car and then they both waved goodbye to the doctors and head to Kelly's home they arrived there within 20 minutes

K= and we are finally home. Well, technically my home.
S= Kelly you don't have to bring me in to your place. I can take care of myself at my own house.
K= I know you can
S= besides, if I needed help, I could always ask Cindy or Herman to come come help me
K= I know but they do have five kids. Herman is either at the firehouse or Molly's and Cindy doesn't need another person to take care of.
S= that's a Fair point
K= at least stay for the night and I'll bring you back to your house tomorrow if you would like
K= all right ( inside) so now that we are inside you need to relax on the couch, so can I get you anything?
S= oh, come on Kelly I can do something I'm not helpless completely
K= I know you aren't but Connor did tell me you need to take it easy for a couple days so go sit down please
S= OK fine I will go sit down, but only because the doctor told me to take it easy
K= at least you're finally listening
S= hey don't start just because I'm still in doesn't mean I can't come and hurt you myself
K= I would like to see you try
S= oh, you really are something
K= I'll try, but would you like something to eat or drink?
S= sure I would love some chicken rice and maybe a beer
K= well I can do most of that for you besides the beer since the meds you're on can't mix with alcohol
S= OK fine then I'll have a soda please
K= OK coming right up
