It was a breezy autumn in Northville. My parents and I just moved to a new city far away from my hometown. My parents got a job opportunity as a journalist in a newspaper company. They told me that I have to leave my old high school, which was Barrywood High. I was disappointed at first but I didn't care at all.

I had less friends back in Barrywood. My best friends, Naomi Robertson and Queenie Bay. They were my closest friends that I ever knew. We met each other when I was five years old. But now I'm sixteen and my friends moved away first. Naomi moved away when she was twelve because her parents got divorce so she had to live with her grandma in Oregon. Queenie got accepted into an Arts Academy in New York so she moved away when she was ten.

I thought to myself, this is a good way to start brand new. My parents and I started moving three days ago. We are getting used to living here.

My parents found a typical neighborhood in Little Beach Way. It was a two bedroom house with two bathrooms. It was bigger than my old house. In Barrywood, my parents and I lived in a small apartment with rent. My mother had a hard time finding a job and my father resigned because of lack of business.

It was 9 PM on a Sunday. I was on my computer, playing Royale High on Roblox. Yes, I am gay and I love to play Roblox. I started playing Roblox when Naomi and Queenie started playing when they were seven.

I was wearing my pajamas. My parents gave me pajamas last Christmas. It was silky and comfortable.

My mom knocked on the door and she came in. She brought my medications.

"Hey Charlie, I brought your medications." My mom said as she put it down on my desk.

"Thanks mom."

"Hey, I just found a high school pretty close to our house and tomorrow, I can schedule you in." Mom informed me.

"Okay, thanks for letting me know."

As soon as my mom was about to leave my room, I asked her.

"What's dad doing?"

"He's still organizing paperwork, honey." Mom said.

"Okay. Thanks."

My mom closed my bedroom door. I checked the time on my computer and it was 9:05 PM. I grabbed my phone and added 6:30 AM on my alarm. I turned off the computer, took my medications, and headed to bed. I was so exhausted. It is mostly unpacking and unpacking and you know what I mean. I fell asleep real quick.

It's the next morning. I woke up from the sound of my phone alarm. I turned it off and I got out of my bed. I used the bedroom and I dressed up for the day.

I wore a gray sweatshirt that is a Ready To Be TWICE merch that I bought when I watched TWICE's concert. I also wore blue jeans, black converse, and my prescription black glasses. I can't see clearly so I sometimes forget to wear them.

I ran to the living room and I noticed that my parents made breakfast for me.

"Hey son, I just made waffles and pancakes." My dad said.

I walked up to the dining room and I sat next to my mom. I ate my whole meal in thirty minutes and I was full.

"Dad, this is amazing."

"No problem. I'm always the chef here." My dad said as he cleaned all the dirty dishes.

"Okay then, today, we are going to your new school." Mom said as she got up from her chair.

"I hope it's better than Barrywood."

"It is better." Mom said as she grabbed her purse and the keys.

Mom and I headed out and we went to the new school. During the drive to my new school, I was looking out the window when I noticed a school, Northville High. There was a huge digital banner with the class president standing confidently.
