As I stepped through the doors of my new high school, a whirlwind of emotions engulfed me. Excitement, nervousness, and a touch of nostalgia from leaving behind my old friends and familiar hallways.

I couldn't help but notice the buzzing energy in the air. Students hurriedly finding their lockers, laughter echoing through the halls, and cliques forming like magnets. It was a whole new world, and I was just a tiny fish in this vast ocean.

But then, out of nowhere, I bumped into two familiar faces - Zain and Violet. Memories flooded back, reminding me of the good times and the not-so-good times. It was like a blast from the past, but with a twist of uncertainty.

As I made my way through the bustling hallways, I couldn't help but observe the different social groups. Cheerleaders practicing their routines, rebels flaunting their unique style, and loners finding solace in their solitude. It was like witnessing a colorful tapestry of teenage life.

However, my heart sank when Violet recognized me as "Crybaby Rhia" from our elementary school days. The nickname stung, and it seemed like the whole world paused for a split second as she tripped Sophia, causing a cascade of laughter to fill the air. I felt a mix of anger, embarrassment, and a deep longing to prove them wrong.

Amidst the chaos, a friendly face emerged in my first-period class - Julian. We struck up a conversation, and I instantly felt a sense of relief. It was comforting to know that I wasn't alone in this sea of unfamiliar faces.

But just as I started to settle into the rhythm of the day, I caught a glimpse of Zain, the enigmatic figure who I suspected to be "THE Zain." My curiosity piqued, and I couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay beneath his mysterious facade.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the day, I took a deep breath. I reminded myself that I wouldn't let the mean girls define me. I was determined to find my own path, to discover genuine connections, and to show everyone that I was more than just a nickname.

So, I walked into my second period class and sat alone at a table. Then this girl named Sophia came over and sat next to me. We started talking, and I apologized for not helping her earlier in the morning. Sophia asked me if I was going to the party, but I had no idea what party she was talking about. She mentioned it was the one Zain was throwing at his house. I laughed and said, "As if he hates me! Why would I go to his party?"

After chatting for a while, the bell rang, and everyone headed home. As I was getting ready for bed, I heard a lot of noise outside. Curious, I looked out my window and was shocked to see a huge party happening right in front of my house. I couldn't believe it! I quickly texted Sophia, asking why there were people in front of my house. She seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I could see her too and asked what they were all doing.

That's when Sophia realized I was Zain's neighbor. She thought it was cool and laughed over text then sneaked into Zains party.I knew if Zain going out he would kill her so I decided I had to go help her, so I sneaked outside, climbed over Zain's fence, and entered the party in my pajamas. Just my luck, the same guy from my first period, Julian, spotted me and was surprised to see me there in my PJs. He started flirting with me, but I told him I was in a hurry because I was there for my friend.

As I was trying to find Sophia, I accidentally ended up in Zain's room. Talk about awkward! Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, Zain and his girlfriend, Violet, walked in. I panicked and hid in the closet. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing - Zain and Violet started kissing! I froze in shock, but then Zain said he was going to smoke. Violet got mad and walked off. That's when I decided to come out of the closet (literally) and as I thought nothing could get worse Zain was right there waiting for me to exit the closet. I quickly tried to explain myself and he whispered in my ear sure.

But before I could say anything, someone took a picture of us thinking we were making out in that point of view without us knowing. I pushed Zain away and told him he was a complete jerk for being a jerk. I ran back to my house and went to bed, exhausted from the crazy night.
