One of the most complicated challenges in computer science is to create a machine with artificialintelligence, that enables it to think and learn in the same way as a person. Some experts believe humans are close to conquering this challenge, using 2 very different methods.

METHOD 1: HARDWARE Hardware describes the electronics and physical parts that make up a computer. Hardware engineers have already created artificial versions of brain cells. They have even combined enough of these to mimic some of the connections in an insect brain, but an artificial human brain would require 85 billion cells.

METHOD 2: SOFTWARE Software describes the programs that tell computers what to do. Software engineers are trying to come up with a set of codes that tells computers how to work in a similar way to human brains, but using their own electronic circuits. The part is that nobody knows exactly how brains work, so it isn't possinle to write it into a code.
