"Class dismissed."
As soon our professor said that everyone stood up at kanya kanya gayak ng kanilang gamit. This is my last class for today finally! Another tiring day again.
"Tara shot tayo." Carol said. She's my friend and a class president.
"Shot nanaman?" Reklamo ko.
"Hoy, Collin Mclisster! Anong Shot nanaman eh Isang buwan kana ngang hindi sumama saamin mag club." Napatawa na lang at napa-iling.
"You know, alcohol is not really my thing. I care about health." I joked.
"Mama mo." Ganti niya. "Ano, G na." Pag pupumilit pa niya.
"Oo na pero hindi ako masyado iinom kailangan ko umuwi ng bahay bukas." I said. Tumawag kasi sakin si mama may family gatherings daw bukas kasi nakauwi na yung kaibigan niya galing Las Vegas.
"Sure sure tawagan ko na barkada." She went out of the classroom and i did.
Naglalakad na ako ng parking lot ng may napansin 'kong nag aaway na mag jowa, hindi ko na sana ito papansinin ng makita 'kong biglang sinakal ng lalaki yung girlfriend niya.
"Hey! Stop!" Sigaw ko. The guy looked at me with anger in his eye.
"Wag kana mamakialam ayaw mag jowa lang 'to." The guy said but I wasn't convinced.
"Let go of her... Or I'll call a cops." Pananakot ko sakanya. To my shock he did let go of her pero lumapit siya sakin as in malapit na malapit!
"Diba sabi ko sayo wag 'kang mamakialam dito." To my horror he grab both of my arms sobrang higpit pa.
"Y-you're hurting me! Let go of me you asshole!" I said.
He was about to slap me pero bigla na lang pumokpok sa ulo niya ng babasagin na bote rason kung bakit nakawala ako sa hawak ng lalaki.
"Go! Run!" The girl said but i can't just leave and let her with her abusive boyfriend. Instead i grab her hand pulled her at tumakbo kami.
We reached my car. I opened it. "Hop in." I said at mabilis naman 'siyang sumakay ng kotse. "Are you okay?" I asked. Tumingin ako sakanya and she was already crying, good thing lagi akong may tissue sa kotse at inabot ko yun sakanya.
Hindi ko alam kung saan ko siya ipupunta kaya dumiretso na lang ako sa condo ko.
"Make yourself comfortable." I said. I went to the refrigerator to check if there's any juice to offer and thank god meron naman. "Here." Inabot ko yung juice. "Are you okay now?" I asked.
"I'm fine now, Salamat pala kanina." She finally spoked. I nodded and smiled at her.
"Okay. Uhm if you don't mind." Nag tataka siyang tumingin sakin. "H-how do you and that guy end up like that?"
She looked away and sighed. "Can I trust you?" Seryoso niyang sabi.
"Of course, you can trust me besides I'm a future psychiatrist. You're secret is safe with me." I said
"We have a sex video. Gustong gusto ko na siyang iwan kasi hindi ko na kaya yung ugali at trato niya 'sakin." I saw her tears falling down from her eyes. Damn that's must be so tough to faced... Lalong nag-init ang dugo ko sa lalaking 'yon.
"Earlier i was breaking up with him, but he blackmailed again, ikakalat daw niya yung video sa media." She continued. Huminga pa siya ng malalim para ikalma ang sarilim. I looked at her hands and it was shaking... she's scared.
"It's okay, i understand. You can tell the other stories some other time when you're ready." I smiled.
"Salamat sa pag tulong kanina." She smiled.
"Wala yun, tsaka kahit sino naman gagawin tumulong pag may nakitang ganon sitwasyon." I said. "By the way, bakit hindi mo i report sa police yung boyfriend mo?"
She sighed again. "Chief police ang tatay 'non. If ever i reported it...baka mabaligtad lang yung kwento. Alam mo naman dito sa pinas walang bago sa justice system, kung sino pa yung may karapatan sa bansa, sila pa yung sisira sa hustisiya para malinis ang pangalan nila sa publiko."

"M-my father is a senator..." Napatungo ako.
"S-sorry... I didn't mean to--"
I cut her off. "It's okay. If that's how you reflect the politicians to this country, I can't blame you." I smiled. "Oh... I forgot to introduced myself."
"Collin, I already know you." Bigla akong napatingin sakanya ng may pag taka sa mukha. How did she know me? "U-uhm... Lagi ka kasi pinag-uusspan ng mga ka department ko sa campus." Pag papaliwanag niya.
"Ohh that's why... Since you're already know me. What's your name?" I kindly asked her with a genuine smile.
"My name is Mia.. Falmia Melendez."
