''Let her in Naman.'' Amisha pleaded. ''He is important.''   Naman looked reluctant but he stepped away when Lakshay held his arm. ''Its not about her, is about him. Lets do it for him. We should do all to bring him back. Pls!'' Naman didn't wanted to but stepped away reluctantly.

Riya walked into he room, the beeping of the different life supporting machines. She stood near his bed watching him without blinking. So many memories came back to her punching her in he gut.  Those innocent emotion that bonded them, the first time them holding the hands, the first hug and the first kiss. Riya felt all coming back at once. Riya extended her fingers gently placing them over his. ''Varun......'' she whispered. She hasn't uttered his name in years and now it felt that name never left her. She caressed his head , his face then placed her palm gently on his chest.  ''Come back...pls...for me. And then she sobbed, hard. Her hear breaking in million pieces. The one witnessing this stood their dumb founded and then there was a thud.

''Riya!'' Nirali called out as she watched her friend collapsing on the floor. Shaan ran to check her  and found her pulse weak. He lifted her up, ''She needs a doctor.'' Nirali stared as Shaan carried Riya out and then her eyes turned to unconscious Varun. What was this between them, it scared her.

The room turned dead silent as Nirali decided to  check on her friend, while the men stood there tired not sure about what just happened. Lakshay stared at his friend, he knew the regret the pain and the agony Vraun went through. All those visits to the doctors and endless sessions, the cuts he made on his body to punish himself. Lakshay caressed his head, only if people who hated him could understand that even he was a child then, he made a mistake and repented for it in every possible way.

Lakshay knew what Riya went through was nothing less than hell. But situations were never good for Varun. He was being completely isolated and disowned by his own parents and siblings. WHen media tried reaching his parents they refused to acknowledge him as their son. It had cut deep. Lakshay held Varun's lifeless hand. ''Varun, you finally had what you longed for so long. Riya....she was here. She forgave you. She came to you, she came for you. I know you are there, and listening to me. Pls, come back for us.''

''What's wrong with her?'' Nirali asked Shaan. ''Physically , nothing what I can say is dangerous but she seemed to have decided to be with him in any form. Nirali watched and Shaan tried to hide his tears pretending wiping his face in desperation and helplessness.

''You care for her.''

''Not in a way you think. I won't deny I didn't try to win her over, I wanted to fall in love with me but her love for Varun.....'' SHaan paused. ''Even her anger and hate was strong beyond you and I comprehend. He has always been there, in her anger, her loneliness and her pain.''

''Will she ever be able to forgive and move past all of it. I love her, but how do I say ...does it make me bad that I sympathize with Varun. I have seen him, his scars.''

SHaan smiled. ''No! You are not a bad friend, just a human. Mistakes make us good and bad. Riya had no one who would appreciate her, not even her family. She still had her hopes up, she still dared to dream and then she met him, Varun. He appreciated her, adored her and she believed she had find that one person. They both were young. SHe never moved on, neither did he. They will not move without one another. ''

''Nirali, she was fine believing Varun is somewhere and she could still remember him by hating him. The moment she knew she could lose him forever, she forgot all. May be this is what we call love is. Years, pain distance , nothing could separate them''

''This scares me.''

Shaan smiled. ''Even I am, if Varun gives up, Riya will never open her eyes.'' Nirali took deep breaths, her world seemed to crashing around her. She just wanted her friend to smile in the past and fall in love again but she never realized Riya never stopped loving Varun and may be she never would. Nirali joined her palms , shutting her eyes tight she put her soul into her prayer. This time, she prayed for both Nirali and Varun, waiting for a miracle.

**

Riya dreamt of meadow, a valley of flowers and light. She felt happy and very happy, the light illuminated her frame as she danced , her heart content. It felt she had achieved all she ever desired and then she heard a familiar voice calling her out. She turned and smiled at the man. He wore white and looked like a celestial creature who had descended on the earth for her. SHe ran into his arms as he held her close his chest. They stared at each other and then he placed a deep kiss on her forehead.

''I Love You!''

And then he stepped away, walking backwards. he kept his eyes on her. She stood worried. ''Don't leave me, not again. I never stopped loving you. I still love you.'' But her voice went lost and then all around her turned dark.

***

Riya trembled vigorously as Shaan and the doctor in charge tried controlling her seizures. ''Does she have a history.''

''She does.'' Shaan recalled he initial days. Pls explain and he did as doctors administered the medicine on to her.

She calmed and relapsed into her sleep like coma. Shaan felt frustrated. He took long steps to Varun's room. Ignoring his friends, he stood near Varun. ''I can't believe being a doctor I am doing this, but hear me out. All those years she was with me, she was never mine. She loved you more than the word itself. She was mad, angry and broken but it was all for you. Her emotions have always been for you. If you can hear me, hear this out. If you leave, she won't survive either. I am not sure what future holds, but pls, live for her. She did even when she was shattered. Pls Varun, for Riya....your Riya.''

The room turned silent again. Shaan stared at the other men, ''I will stay with Riya. If there is a progress, let me know.''

''Is he improving?'' Naman asked hopeful

''No, but they will fight. I know, I just know.''  With that SHaan walked away and Varun's friend sat their for the miracle.
