Krishnaanuja: The Goddess Of Illusion (On Hold)

Enchanted.

Subhadra sat down by the balcony, as she was tired. The day was tiring and full of commotion. She took out a dry, palm leaf and began scribbling her thoughts. Whenever she maintained her diary, she mentioned the name of her brother, Shri Krishna. She did so, because she felt that her words reached Krishna's heart.

" Bhratashree Kanha,

It feels so enchanting today. The day was good, but at the end of the day I feel tired. I'm missing your presence. I didn't know that your absence could make me feel so lonely. Arya  gave me  company of course. However, I miss your naughtiness, your sweet talks and your mischief. I wish that you were here.

Bhratashree, I had told you that Arya will take good care of me. I still can't understand the reason behind your hesitation for me, to marry him. I know, everything you say, has a reason. However, I still can't see the reason behind this. Okay, I'm going to have some sweet talks with my husband. As this is my first day as his wife, so.. Now don't tell me , “Wow Bhadra, you've become so mature”...

Yours, Bhadra".

Subhadra kept down the paper and giggled. She heard the opening of the door. She knew that the person was the love of his life, his heart. She stopped giggling and got up from the balcony. She walked to Arjun, and hugged him. Arjun caressed her hairs and inhaled her scent.

" How is my queen doing? Is she comfortable?" , He asked playfully.

" Your queen is completely fine, My Lord".

" Oh is it! Please inform the queen that we have to leave for Jayadrath's palace tomorrow ".

Subhadra expression changed. She didn't like even a bit of Jayadrath's personality.
"Why are we going there?".

" To meet Dushala of course. We have some deals to make as well".

" Are we going alone?"

" Why? Do you have any plans with me? Alone?"

" Don't tease me. Answer my question".

" Sure ,my Queen. Bhrata Yudhisthira and Devika Bhabhi are accompanying us".

" Oh", she let out a whisper. She didn't want to see that man. It was only for the sake of Dushala that she was ready to go. Arjun sensed her tension and took her in a warm hug.

" Don't worry Subhadra. Nothing wrong will happen. I know that you're hesitant. It's okay. You can tell me if you don't want to go".

" No no. I will definitely go. I want to meet Dushala. It's long since we haven't met".

" I know Subhi. Believe me, if that pervert tries to look at you, I swear I'll make infinite holes in his body with my arrows".

" Calm down, Arya. I am completely assured."

" Shall we discuss about the plans? The plans, which you have for me when we will be alone?", He asked playfully.

" Will you stop now?"

" No."

" Stop".

" No".

" Then fine, don't. I am going to sleep. You stand here alone, all the night, and think of whatever we will do".

" Wait, I will also join you. For sleeping ".
Subhadra chuckled at his playfulness. She planted a soft kiss on his forehead, making him smile.

" You are the best. I love you.. a lot!!".
They slept in each others arms and waited for tomorrow. They waited for a new ray of hope and happiness.

Next morning:

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a gentle glow over Hastinapur. Amidst streets and the fragrance of flowers, Subhadra and Arjun, attired in garments , strolled hand in hand. They found themselves near a Lake, surrounded by Jasmine flowers.

"As the sunlight bathes the city, its radiance pales in comparison to beauty that emanates from your eyes", said Arjun, holding Subhadra's hands.

" Your words are as sweet nectar, and the warmth of your gaze rivals the sun's embrace. How did I come to deserve such poetry?", Subhadra said in a teasing voice.

" Oh wow! You are learning a lot of things by being with me", he boasted.

"Yeah whatever. You kindly continue your poetry by answering my question.".

"It is not a matter of deserving, my queen. For in the book of love, our threads have woven together, creating a story, rich of love".

" Your words are a balm to my soul, Arya".

" Hm.. Not bad. Keep it up".

" I am not your student!"

" You are"

"I'm not".

" Yes, you are".

They continued their bickering and their journey , till they reached near a land, which was adorned by rice crops.
Arjun stood by spot holding her hands and looking into her eyes he spoke,
"Bhadra, let the Sun be a witness to a pledge. In its timeless rays, let our love be sealed.

"Beneath the Sun, I vow to be your unwavering companion. Through sunlit days and moonlit nights, in joy and in sorrow, my heart shall be yours. Forever".

Placing a hand on his chest, Subhadra's eyes watered with tears. She said,"I pledge to be the keeper of your secrets, the listener to your woes, and the companion of your dreams. Together, our hearts shall beat as one."

He leaned in, and they shared a kiss by the sunlight, sealing their vows in the timeless embrace of love.

Arjun whispered," As the the rays of sunlight strike against our skin, may our love be a constant, unending stream. "

They resumed their walk, the sun showering blessings over them.

" You are the best thing that I has ever happened to me.  Okay now enough of these sappy talks. I am already getting emotional over here", said Subhadra, and they both shared a laugh.

" When are we leaving to Jayadrath's palace".

" Haye Ram! I had completely forgotten about it. Let's go back to the palace and ask Bhratashree about our departure"

" See ,how intelligent I am! If I hadn't reminded you of this,  you wouldn't have left for the palace."

" After all you are my wife".

" See ,you are such a big credit stealer."

" I don't find any problem in being proud of my wife ".

" Yeah Whatever".

And with their continuous bickering, they ascended towards the palace.

So I am really sorry for the late update
. I know I have delayed a big deal, but I was so stuck between exams , competitions and  functions. So pardon me, my dear readers.
