I've been searching the ground for love
and didn't realize
I should look up above
Soil can't catch my fall
so safely, so sweet
the way the clouds in heaven do
No one, nothing on earth
is as pure as you
When I close my eyes
and picture you,
picture what you did
so a fool
like me could be saved,
I know the greatest act of love
is sacrificing your life for your friend
How lucky am I
to be that friend,
to be the beloved child
of the king of kings?
Christ, you are my everything
Every day I want to be in your presence
Your sweet perseverance
guides me back to you
every time I get lost in
this world's deep blue
Since you carried me safely
to the shore
I want to stay in your arms
forevermore
