Happy drove them up to Stark Industries HQ, where Obadiah is waiting with the press and their employees, everyone seemed excited to see Y/n and Tony together again but everyone had questions to Tony's escape, as they parked outside Stark Industries Obadiah opened Tony's door cheering

Obadiah Stane: Look at this! Tony. We were going to meet at the hospital.

Tony Stark: No, I'm fine.

Obadiah Stane: Look at you! You had to have a burger, yeah?

Tony Stark: Well, come on.

Obadiah Stane: You get me one of those?

Tony Stark: There's only one left. I need it.

Then Obadiah turned to Y/n who was still eating his third burger and shake looking quite happy for a change

Obadiah Stane: Hey, look who's here! Yeah!

He nods while following his father who had an arm around him leading him towards the building, meanwhile as Y/n and Tony took to the stage Pepper waited on the sidelines when a person came walking up to her

????: Miss Potts?

Pepper: Yes.

????: Can I speak to you for a moment?

Pepper: I'm not part of the press conference, but it's about to begin right now.

Agent Coulson: I'm not a reporter. I'm Agent Phil Coulson, with the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.

Pepper: That's quite a mouthful.

Agent Coulson: I know. We're working on it.

Pepper: You know, we've been approached already by the DOD, the FBI, the CIA...

Agent Coulson: We're a separate division with a more specific focus. We need to debrief Mr. Stark about the circumstances of his escape.

Pepper: I'll put something in the book, shall I?

Agent Coulson: Thank you.

As they turned to face stage Pepper couldn't help but notice that Coulson's gaze was focused on Y/n as the press conference began

Obadiah Stane: Well, let's get this started, uh...

Tony Stark: Hey, would it be all right if everyone sat down?  Why don't you just sit down? That way you can see me, and I can... A little less formal and...

As Tony takes a bite of his cheeseburger everyone sat or squats down onto the floor Rhodey walked next to Pepper looking confused

Rhodey: What's up with the love-in?

Pepper: Don't look at me. I don't know what he's up to.

Tony turned to Y/n and pat's him on the shoulder smiling

Tony Stark: Good to see you.

Y/n smiles

Obadiah Stane: Good to see you.

Tony Stark: I never got to say goodbye to Dad. I never got to say goodbye to my father. There's questions that I would have asked him. I would have asked him how he felt about what this company did. If he was conflicted, if he ever had doubts. Or maybe he was every inch the man we all remember from the newsreels. I saw young Americans killed by the very weapons I created to defend them and protect them. And I saw that I had become part of a system that is comfortable with zero accountability.

Reporter: Mr. Stark!

Tony Stark: Hey, Ben.

Reporter: What happened over there?
