"Are you sure you're ready Roan?" Hades sat on the huge throne made out of bones, petting Kerberos, his mighty companion.
Even though Hades has been like Roane's father ever since he showed up in the underworld as a scared teenager, Roan had a lot of time to think about what he wants. His decision is final. "I'm sure"
The god of the underworld raised one eyebrow "although I think you should wait a few years," he stopped before continuing "if that's what you want, your wish shall be granted"
Roan's eyes widened, but he quickly recovered from his shock and grinned widely. "I'll miss you. But I will most certainly not miss your constant yapping about Persephone"
Hades rolled his eyes and smiled. "Leave child. You will leave the underworld tomorrow."
Roan scratched all three of Kerberos' heads behind the ears, and walked away with a smile the size of Jupiter. His fate is finally going to be decided.
