I can't believe Athena brought me home. I should've punched a different officer. I was sitting on my bed with my arms crossed. Dad's going to come in my room any moment, and then he's going to talk about how what I did was wrong and then he's going to ground me. just as I suspected there was a knock on my door and dad walked in. He was about to say something when I decided to cut him off.
"Look I know what you're going to say. I already said sorry to Athena and I know that what I did was wrong, so go ahead and ground me. Also no, I'm not ready to talk about other stuff." I said.
Dad stood there in shock for a second then he said "Do you want to go get ice cream?"
"It's like 8 O'clock at night," I said shocked.
"Yeah, but I'm sure there's some place still opened. after all, it's Saturday." he replied.
"No more tricks?" I asked confused.
"No more tricks," he said.

Dad and I ended up going to cold stone since it's open until 10 pm on Saturdays. Dad got 'Strawberry blonde' ice cream and I got the 'Oh, Fudge' shake. We sat and talked for a while until around 9:30 and went home and I changed into my Pj's.

I then walked out into the living room. Dad nearly spit out his water.
"Where did those come from," dad said gesturing to my Pj's.
"Earlier today at the mall," I replied,"you since its almost Christmas."
"I'm just not going to say anything," dad said.
"Movie night?" I asked.
"Sure, what do you..."
"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," I said cutting him off.
"Okay," he said.
We laid down on the couch and I only made it through about 4 minutes before falling asleep on dad.
