It was a dark, stormy night in the Sanctum. Or was it during the day? Crystalinne couldn't tell. He couldn't even tell how long he has been stuck here in this horrible, empty prison. The Sanctum was a big and impressive building made of Quantonium, a mix of diamonds, glass, grass and emeralds. The weird structure was floating above the Island. The Island was the only land you could see drifting on the Black Lake. Anything that falls into the endless lake is never seen again. At least, that is what Crystalinne thought about the place he is in. He has never been outside before in his whole life. The Sanctum was broken and decaying, not a perfect place to live but it would still be better than the corrupted world beneath Crystalinne's feet. Staying in the dark in a place like this would never be a good idea, so the boy would always need to stay alert at all times. The only room that still had some sort of power was the library, which is probably the luckiest Crystalinne could have gotten. The child read every book there at least twice, as it is better than going insane. There was a small tree in the library placed in a pot. It's base was twisted, but you couldn't see its roots. All of its leaves were bright pink, and its fruit looked like red crystals, yet the boy was never brave enought to eat one. Suddenly, Crystalinne's heart started to beat faster. Could it be!?Is that a book he never read!? Without wasting time he rushed towards it. Oh my! The book slipped out of his hand and fell down onto the world by a hole in the dome. Well, that is too far down to jump...Or is it?

Crystalinne couldn't resist the urge to jump. It wasnt't that far down, and the Sanctum was dying anyway. It was build to help him survive, which means someone wanted him to live, and would that person really want the boy to die? Someone wanted him to live to a certain event, and since that event didn't happen when the dome was still functional, wouldn't the Sanctum's creator WANT Crystalinne to get out and survive once it all stops being functional? It all made perfect sense to the child. And so, 1...2....And 3! Crystalinne now set his feet on the ground. In the distance, he could he see a city. But first, the book!It is the reason he jumped after all. The weird book seemed to start in the middle and with no introduction stated " The world of the living needs a barrier. That barrier would be the two dimension of the afterlife. But the afterlife needs a barrier aswell. The barrier being, The Black Lake. The only place that dosen't have a barrier, as its bordering reality. One night, a beast emerged from the bottom of the lake. It was pitch black with a white grin on its face. The First Beast made the land we set our life on. It made our home. Living on the empty island after a few million years made the creature bitter, and so, it ripped out one of its horns from its head and impaled itself. From its body, three liquids spilled. Silver, void and rust. These would become the childreen of the powerful Beast. Eventually,, and the last page was ripped out.The weird book ended as fast as it started. It was not the type of entertainment the boy would want, but now that he is free, it dosent matter. Many things could await him in this dangerous world. The child quickly forgot about the book, thinking it was a bad attempt at literature. Throwing the book away,

Crystalinne looked onto the horizon.
