Photo of lanai^ Lanai has always loved making origamis. She didn't like putting in the effort but (almost) always loved the result.
So here she was, at her breaking point, making a origami bouquet. Her tongue poking inside of her cheeks "Aha!".
She just finished the last flower. Suddenly her phone started ringing, it was Hailey, the waitress at work. She turned out to be Marcello's cousin.
Lanai, despite being nervous in large unknown events, was going to Hailey's birthday party in an hour. Lanai accepts the call, and in her warmest tone says "Hey birthday girl. How's everything going?"
"I'm really good everything is being set up and I really love it! I can't wait to see you and introduce you to my friends!"
"I'm so glad.", I say a smile slowly forming. "I'll probably arrive there ten minutes early, just in case, you need some help."
"You're such a sweet thing, but I doubt we'll need help, just come in a cute outfit and I'll be set." We say bye and i go to shower.
I put on my outfit and start doing my hair.

Suddenly, I see a figure coming towards me as the gates open.
"Gorgeous as always, i see. Right this way.", Marcello greets. He's dressed up and looks like a daydream.
