Isadora

Embarking on yet another fresh beginning, my parents and I found ourselves uprooted once more, relocating to a different city. The constant cycle of arriving in unfamiliar territory, forming connections with others, only to later bid them farewell had become a bittersweet routine.

It seemed like an unending loop, resembling a devil's circle. As I stepped into the grand entrance of the new private school situated on the outskirts of the Hamptons, I let out a weary sigh and nonchalantly flicked my blonde hair over my shoulder, hoping that this time around, things would be different.

But boy was I wrong.

As I stepped into the grand and opulent halls, I quickly realized the extent of my mistaken assumptions. The whispering voices filled my ears, carrying scandalous rumors that spread like wildfire. "Is that her?" I heard someone whisper.

Another voice quickly replied, "Yes! I heard her sister is confined in an asylum. Apparently, she attempted to harm Isadora out of jealousy after she successfully seduced her boyfriend!" The atmosphere was thick with intrigue and speculation.

I couldn't help but wonder how they originated. Letting out a sigh, I narrowed my green eyes and approached the group of girls confidently. With my head held high, I mustered up a fake sweet voice and forced a smile as I politely asked, "Excuse me? Could you perhaps tell me where I can find homeroom A111?"

In that moment, a sense of surprise filled the air as the two girls gasped in unison. Their reaction only fueled my amusement, causing my smile to widen even further. As their eyes met, a brief exchange of uncertainty passed between them before they instinctively took a step back.

Sensing their unease, I decided to offer a hint, pointing down the hallway with a mischievous glint in my eye. One of the girls managed to find her voice and hastily directed the other, "Down the hallway. Then left." They wasted no time, scurrying off in a different direction, leaving me with a satisfied grin on my face.

After a bit of searching, I eventually located the room I had been looking for. As I approached, I noticed that the door was ajar, so I gathered the courage to enter. To my surprise, I found myself met with a multitude of curious eyes.

Trying my best to appear composed, I offered a nod of acknowledgement before directing my attention towards a figure whom I assumed to be the teacher.

"Um, hey there. I'm Isadora Canceo," I stammered awkwardly, feeling slightly out of place. As I scanned the classroom, my gaze was immediately drawn to three captivating individuals. One had striking white hair, while the other two boasted luscious dark brown locks. Their presence was truly mesmerizing.

As I caught the teacher's gaze, he acknowledged my presence with a nod. "Ah, yes," he said, his voice carrying a hint of familiarity. "You can sit next to Myrte and Nika."

Following his gesture, my eyes landed on the two brunettes he had pointed at. With a simple nod in response, I proceeded to navigate my way towards the unoccupied seat nestled between the two girls.

I sank onto the seat and lowered my head with a heavy sigh.
