The cold winter wind hit my skin
and I felt my void
beating wildly.
I looked at the sky
and the clouds reminded me
of the curves of your smile.
I felt my hands wrap around my cold body
and the warm sweater
reminded me of your touch.
My head dialed me a call
and I heard your voice
ringing in my head.
I saw you, felt you, heard you
everywhere I went
and thereafter I felt lonely
and touch starved
and vulnerable
and broken beyond repair.
Why did you do this to me?
