"Uh,- umm..." you and Ella stutter, "We.. I , I, we-we're..." Matron chucks a mop and cloth onto the floor in front of you "What are you waiting for? Get to work!"
You quickly grab the mop as you and your friend scurry off to another day of work. "Oh no, our plan didn't work," sighs Ella. "And we missed breakfast!" you add " I'm starving,"
You suddenly realise that Eliza , the meanest bully here, is stood behind you" What plan?" She asks, with a smirk. "None of your business Eliza," Says Ella. " I'm not sure that matron would agree," she snarled. "You wouldn't dare!" You say. The all of a sudden Matron booms, " STOP all this chitter chatter and start scrubbing!" Eliza and her sheepish friends run off down the corridor and don't look back. "Do you think they'll tell?" Asks Ella. "I'm not sure but we have to stay quiet now, we don't know when they could be listening.
Now that you've finished your chores for the day, everyone slopes off to bed.
