It was finally over.
School hours were finished at 2:20.
She sighed of relief but ultimately groaned when she almost forgot about her after school.
Another dreadful 3 hours and 40 minutes later, later, it was 6 PM.
Her time in school was over.
They packed up their things and left the building.
Her mom greeted her with a hello and told them to eat dinner before showering.
She enjoyed her day and ate.
She finished showering and went onto her phone to talk with their friends online.
He was having fun until it was time to study for a math quiz.
They hesitantly grabbed their book and looked over his notes for his quiz.
The study session went until her brother interrupted him.
She asked him what he was doing but had his notes grabbed by their brother.
Then, they were asked to do 2 made-up math questions made by his brother.
After finishing studying, he went back on his phone to chat.
This peace was very rudely interrupted by her seemingly upset mother.
She yelled at her, asking why they don't do their homework.
Not wanting to say anything, they checked what they had to do and did it.
But as usual, she was never satisfied.
She said that their devices will be taken away and will beat them badly if she could.
He was going to burst into a wave of tears.
They hated those words.
He was genuinely thinking about su*cide and whether she should do it or not.
And then her mother called art useless.
That hit the center of her heart.
Art was their passion since they were a kid.
And now he was being told to throw it all away.
Tears streamed out of her eyes.
She tried to keep it all in.
Everything was becoming numb to him.
They hated every aspect of their life.
Every.
Single.
Thing.
He thought of all the good memories he had with his mom.
All the fun they had.
All the laughter and smiles.
All this was for nothing.
She wondered if it was all just an act.
They wondered if their mom had a mask and put it on just to make life seem amazing.
When in reality, she's hurting the person who had the most pain.
He thought that he was being over dramatic and he really was a mistake.
His mom went on call with her father, who was in China at the time.
Their mom suddenly had a nice and happy personality.
They thought it was ridiculous.
Being nice on camera while being mean off call.
He thought it was the pure definition of toxic, manipulative, and a narcissist.
This was bullshit.
She wanted everything to end.
