Poli's POV
It's been 3 years since I've moved out of BroomsTown, I'm doing pretty well actually, I'm still a police officer and also work at a cafe, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I work at the police station, on Tuesday's and Thursdays I work at the cafe.
I now live in a big city called Tire Bridge City, I live in a small apartment, I just don't like big houses as much. Kaelyn was reaching out to me with text messages, letters, gifts, and more, I do appreciate it and I do miss her. She also gave me some other letters from our friends, Amber asked how I was feeling, Jin was asking if I was okay and still was kinda worried about me, and Helly being Helly, he was making funny jokes and stuff.
However I also get letters from Roy as well, he says he misses me and was very sorry how he treated me, I knew he was upset and I don't know for sure if I should forgive him or not.
The next day I've decided to go on vacation and see my old place, it's been way too long and I miss them a lot, I packed my suitcase with the things that I need, I then went to the Harbor and was greet by CC
"Poli, long time no see" She smiled
"Hey CC, nice to see you again" I waved
After we got to broom's Town harbor, I was greeted by the brother cranes, miss Bella, Lifty, and Terry.
"Poli?!?! Oh my it's been so long!! How have you been?!?!" Lifty asked and hugged me
"Hello Lifty, it's been a very long time"
"Looks like you haven't changed a bit"
Miss Bella giggled
"So are you coming back or?" Terry came and asked
"Oh I'm just visiting for at least two weeks" I said
"Well I hope you have a great time here" Miss Bella smiled
Later I then called a cap and of course I met Cap and he was happy to see me, he dropped me off at headquaters, wow it's been so long now, I wonder how the team is?
I then opened the door and walked in slowly, and saw some cookies on the table, I decided to take one and eat until I heard a voice.
"Poli?"
I then turned to see it was Roy, tears began to fill his eyes as he dropped his bag of grocery, he then ran over to me and hugged me tight while he cryed on my shoulder, which I didn't mind, I then smiled and got teared up and hugged him back.
"Poli?"
"Wait is that really him?"
"No way. . . "
I then look to see my other old teammates, Amber, Jin, Helly, and Kaelyn, they then ran and we then had a group hug and then became emotional.
After that we all talked and was happy, we then had lunch together and I've told them what I've did for the pass 3 years.
"Poli do you want to see BroomsTown again with me?" Helly asked
"Yeah, sure Helly"
"Hey you took my line!!" Kaelyn pouted
"Nuh uh"
"Yah uh!!!"
"NUH UH!!!!"
"YAH UHHH!!!"
"Hehe why don't we all go?" I asked
"Fine" they sighed
After all that we went out and looked around BroomsTown, some things didn't really change, I met some of our old friends, they were really happy to see me.
"Poli are you going to come back to BroomsTown?" Spooky asked
"Spooky!!!" Cap shushed him
"It's alright Cap, but maybe one day I will" I smiled
We then walked and walked around until sundown, we came back to headquarters and had dinner, we had Korea BBQ ribs, Kaelyn ate the most.
Jin let me sleep in my old room, so I did, I then opened the door and almost cry, it's been so long since I've seen this room. I walked in until I heard someone call my name, I turned to see Roy.
"Roy. . . "
"Poli. . . Could we talk?" He asked
"What is it?" I asked back, fearing a little
"I know I've apologized a lot and I should say sorry in person, I know it wasn't good of me to act like that, I just want you to know how sorry I am. Will you forgive me?" He asked and new tears falling down in his cheeks
"Roy I know you are very sorry, and I forgive you, but that doesn't mean we could be together, again. . . " I said
"I understand. . . " Roy said and walked out of the room
He then closed the door, leaving me alone. Should I forgive him?
The next day the team went out for patrol while I stayed in headquarters, I looked around a bit more and some things didn't really change, I saw Jin looking a bit stressed.
"Hey Jin, are you alright?"
I asked
"Remember those men that raprd you and some other victims?" She asked
"Yeah I do. . ." I said and turned my eyes
"Sorry I have to bring it up, but unfortunately we didn't caught them yet, even with the help of The Mountain rescue team and The Desert rescue team, we don't have any luck and people keep disappearing and-"
"Jin, I know you are stressed and we'll catch them soon" I said
"Your going to help us?" She asked
"Yup" I said
"Thats great!!"
She said and jumped and hugged me
I then hugged her back and helped her to find evidence. For hours we haven't found anything yet and we were both started to get tired, we rested the investigation for now and the team didn't came back yet from their patrol, so me and Jon got a snack from the kitchen.
"So Poli, are you dating someone right now?" Jin asked
"No at the momment" I answered
"Everything isn't the same without you, you've did so much for the team will you come move in again?" Jin sadly asked
"I don't know Jin, things had been rough here and traumatizing" I said
"I understand Poli" she said and patted my shoulder
