LEXIS POV:

I had just sat down at my lunch table with evan.
I pulled a small container of strawberries and orange slices out of my bag.
Evan was eating crackers.

I was wearing a red hoodie and black ripped jeans.
Evan was wearing a white t-shirt and black cargopants.

I noticed evan was staring at his phone and typing.
I looked over at the screen.

All I could see was the name "bria"
"I thought you were gonna stop talking to her" I say

Evan looks over at me and lays the phone down in his lap.

"She won't stop texting me" he says
"You guys broke up?? It's weird to be friends after breaking up. Especially after how she treated you?" I say

He sighs.

"She's not just a random ex" he says
"Yeah I know, she snatched your virginity and then walked away" I say annoyed

He shushes me lightly. "Hey! I don't want the whole school knowing" he whispers
"But it's true?" I say

He rolls his eyes and looks back at his phone.

I grabbed another strawberry and closed the lid on the container.

I noticed a girl walk into the cafeteria.
Very pretty, brunette, brown eyes, tan skin.
She was wearing a light purple sweater and light blue jeans, with her hair tied in a bun.

She looked around for an open table.
All the tables were occupied.

I could see the look of dread on her face.
"Hey, you need some place too sit?" I say.

Evan looks up and immediately stares at her.

She looks over at me.
"Yeah, but there seems to be no empty tables" she says

I smile lightly.
"You're welcome to sit here, if you want obviously" I say

She grins lightly and sits down.
"Thankyou so much, I don't know anyone" she says

I chuckled lightly. "So...what's your name" I say

She adjusts her posture, I could tell she was starting to get more comfortable. "Olivia. Olivia rodriguez" she says

My eyes widened and I glanced at Evan and Malachi. "As in....Carlos rodriguez....the police officer" I question

She grins. "Yeah....I didn't know he was that famous" she mocks

I laughed lightly. "This is a small town. Everybody knows everybody" I say

She glances down our table and around the room. The nervous look crept back onto her face as she noticed the light whispers and stares from other kids.
She immediately lowers her voice. "Why is everyone staring at me" she questions "do I look wierd?"

I chuckled lightly. "No. Of course not" I start "I'm guessing you don't really know much about the groups and stereotypes in our school?"

She nods. "The cliques" she says "Like the popular kids, the band kids, the jocks?"

I glance at Evan. "Yeah" I say "You have to be careful with who you choose to be friends with because.....there's alot of drama and gossip"

She nods once again. "That doesn't explain the stares" she says

Evan let out a small laugh. "That's cause.....this is the 'popular table' we are considered the popular kids" he says

Her eyes widened. "Ohhhh......that explains it" she mutters

I shook my head. "Anyways....I'm lexi. This is evan....and malachi" I say gesturing to the two.

She smiled at both of them.
