prologue

         Taehyung looks over to the garden just below the massive window and over the cream coloured picket fence that stretched around the vast fields of flowers.He has always dreamt of running in a field of flowers maybe not this particular field but surely any field.Maybe with a family who he knows e would cherish.Oh to have a family,it's always been a distant dream and yet he is here,hands clutching onto the duster and day dreaming of such nonsense.Taehyung knows that this is ridiculous but he can't help himself.

Taehyung is a maid for the royal family,heavy emphasis on royal.His mother had dumped him off to be with another man and had left him in the care of her sister,Taehyung's beloved Aunt Sojung , who loved and cared for him as if he was her own. The boy was always a ray of sun light in her eyes and he was loved by everyone in the palace because of is kind and charming nature.

When Taehyung was five, his mother, like I said, had left the young child in the care of her younger sister and spared not even a single glance to either of them and I may not know of the exact events that happened to  take place but,  San-meo was just looking for money and it was quite a surprise that Sojung had even helped her. Sojung loved dearly young children, and her heart ached for the young boy, so she took him in as her own.

Now, you may be thinking of the royals but the King Jinsoo and Queen Ara was happy to have the doe eyed boy with them, but the couple had a 2 sons of their own, Jeongguk and Jin.

Jeongguk was a year older than Tae whilst Jin was 4 years older than Tae.

Jeongguk and Taehyung over the years had developed quite a strongbond and they were almost inseperable. But things changed.

The king and queen did not like their relationship and had forced Taehyung to become a maid as soon as he turned 12. Jeongguk of course did not like this but Taehyung reasoned with him not to say anything.

To compensate the two had always been secretive and hid their  outings from Jeongguk's parents.

On Taehyung's 18th birthday Jeongguk confessed  and they  made love,only to hear that a week later,

Jeongguk was to be engaged to a princess.

Would their love survive?
