The room was cloaked in darkness, the only light emitting from a thinly veiled lamp. The walls were covered by twisting puzzles of pipes, with vessels and bolts scattered across the scene. Steam whistled from trinkets and gadgets, although the sound was trivial compared to the whirring of the machine. It was a copper beauty, the thing; with gears and latches systematically placed around the surface of the invention. It had wings of white tarp, stretched over a frame of bronze. It's mesh eyes pulsed faintly with amber light.
I did steampunk as a writing prompt, cause I couldent draw it for the life of me. Anyways, here slimy!
