"My mother is the guiding light in my life. I would face the darkest demons to keep her safe."

As Y/n's thoughts shifted back to the expressions on Tanjiro's and the Flame Pillar's faces upon learning about her relationship to Tanjiro, she couldn't help but giggle softly to herself. Her fingers, which had been idly running through Akaza's soft pink hair, paused for a moment. Akaza, noticing the interruption, lifted his head slightly and pouted, missing the comforting touch.

"Mother, are you okay?" he asked, concern lacing his words as he observed her furrowed brows. Y/n, breaking free from her thoughts, blinked and met her demon son's worried eyes.

Akaza's voice carried a touch of urgency as he repeated, "I asked, are you okay, Mother? You seem more spaced out than usual." His head tilted to the side, conveying his genuine confusion.

Y/n couldn't help but bless him with a warm smile before gently patting his head once more. "I am quite alright, my little Kaza," she reassured him, her smirk returning. "Things are getting more interesting for us, my dear." Akaza responded with a pleased purr as he leaned into her touch. "I couldn't agree more, Mother," he said, a smirk mirroring his mother's on his face.

Y/n's gaze shifted toward the entrance of the cave, where the faint rays of sunlight seeped through, just enough to illuminate their sanctuary without harming them. Her thoughts drifted to Tanjiro, wondering how he was faring.

Meanwhile, within the ranks of the Demon Slayer Corps, the master addressed his two children. "I see... please call for the Hashira," he instructed calmly while gently rubbing the crow perched on his lap.

The master's children nodded and bowed respectfully before quietly leaving the room to inform the Hashira about the urgent meeting. The master listened to them go, a smile playing on his lips. "It seems all the cards are falling into place," he mused to himself, humming softly in contemplation.

He then turned his attention to the crow that had been perched on his lap. "Make sure Tanjiro is also present for this meeting," he instructed the crow, his tone carrying a sense of urgency. The crow responded with a sharp "Caw" before taking off, its wings flapping as it left to deliver the important news to Tanjiro.

Tanjiro, still recovering from his injuries, lay in his bed after reluctantly taking Aoi's medicine. He recalled the scene earlier when Inosuke and Zenitsu had been complaining and yelling about the medication. Aoi's stern look had quickly silenced them, and Tanjiro couldn't help but sweat drop at the memory.
