Secrets (Kakashi x Reader)

The Return

      I sighed as I trudged through the gates of Konoha, giving an unseen glance of disapproval to the sleeping guards. 'I wonder if anyone missed me...' I thought to myself, my mind conjuring a picture of the teenage boy with silver hair. I shook my head, blushing at the thought. 'Where do I go?' I asked herself aloud. And with that, I headed to the familiar path that led to the Hokage's office.

    

"Mr. Hokage! I forgot your name. Can I come in?"

    

"... Enter." I entered the office, giving a light bow before standing up straight, shoulders back.

        "(F/N)! You are back! It's been 10 years!" He stood up, rushing over to the now-adult. "I haven't seen you since you were an early teen!" He embraced me in a strong hug, leaving me in a suffocating embarrassed state.

        "Hai, Hokage-San."

    

"Sit, sit please." Sarutobi returned to his desk, instantly turning back into his 'professional' state. I took a seat in the chair in front of his desk. "Now tell me, where have you been?"

      "Why did Hokage call us?"

   

"I was in the middle of training!"

        "..."

Every Sensei in the village was gathered in the Hokage's office, each trying to figure out the reason for his call.

      "Now I am going to take a wild guess. You want to know why I called you here, even when some of you where in the middle of training. (F/N), please step forward." I stepped out of the crowd, clearly unnoticed by the other sensei's. The whole room gasped, giving each other confused looks.

        "She's back?"

    

"Where did she go?"

     "It's been ten years!"

        "..." I just stood there, taking in their changes in appearance. 'Asuma sure has gotten big, and cute. There's the girl that always wore bandages, what was her name? Oh no.'

        "My beautiful lotus! You have returned! I waited my entire youth for you to come back for me!" Gai-Sensei threw himself at my feet and began sobbing. "My lotus, I have missed you so!" And with that, I barely nudged my foot, sending Gai into the wall. The room gasped, to my surprise. I wasn't 'that' strong...'

   

"She's so strong!"

    

"I haven't seen that kind of strength since Tsunade!"

     "My lotus... is so strong..." Gai broke into tears.

    

"..."

    

'Wait...' I thought to myself. 'Where's Kashi?' I scanned the room once more, finding a man with gravity-defying hair leaning against the back wall, book in face. I sighed, pulling out a kunai. With unmatchable speed, I threw the knife directly above his right ear. Again, everyone gasped. Kakashi lowered his book, sighing as he put it into his back pocket.
