Batman: “what happened?”
Nighteye: “fatgum was out on a patrol with two students doing their internships when they encountered some goons they were successful at capturing them however the two students had these darts shot at them the one your holding is one they managed to recover while the needle is bent the rest should be intact”
Batman: “and the other one?”
Barbara: “the other dart managed to hit the other student”
Batman: “what happened to him?”
Barbara: “whatever is in the dart somehow managed to stop his quirk from working”
Nighteye: “at this time we don't know if it’s temporary or permanent”
Batman: “do you have any of his blood”
Without saying anything nighteye hands him a vile of blood
Batman: “i'll put this on the back burner for now i have a more crucial case i'm working on”
He places the dart and vile of blood into his utility belt
Barbara: “whatever it is drop it this case is more important if these drugs get out~”
Batman: “then it would mean villains would have the ability to take any heroes quirk i get that but i'm trying to find and save a kid to me that's more important”
Nighteye: “small girl silver hair one distinct horn bandages on her arms and legs”
Batman: “y-yeah how do you~”
Aizawa: “she’s part of this case we don't how at this moment but we've tracked the production of the darts to the yakuza where we believe the girl is being held”
Izuku didn’t say anything he walked to the edge of the building before turning his head back towards them
Batman: “you’ll have everything you need by tomorrow night”
Nighteye: “when you have everything you need bring it to a meeting where having tomorrow it’ll help with planning the raid”
Batman: “ill be there”
Without another work he jumps off of the building the three of them go over to the edge looking down but not finding any trace of Izuku
Barbara: (somethings never change)
After a while
Izuku had made it back to the batcave where he and Bruce had spent a couple hours looking over the dart and blood. Izuku had his mask pulled back as he was looking over the blood while he was doing this Bruce was breaking down the dart figuring out how it works. As Izuku was looking at the quirk cells in the blood he saw that the cells were darkened as he watched it for a couple second the screen flickered as the quirk cells retired to normal.
Izuku: “from the look of it the effects of the dart are only temporary”
Bruce: “something tells me who ever made these are working on making it permanent”
Izuku: “you got anything from that dart”
Bruce: “the computer is finishing its breakdown”
As if on cue the computer finishes its breakdown showing a 3D model of the dart with a list components that make up the dart bruce reads through the list before stopping and going into further examination on one component
Izuku: “you found something”
Bruce: “there’s blood in this dart”
Izuku: “blood?...well isn't that a good thing now we can find out who is superficially making the dart”
