The shouts didn't linger long as she moved out onto a main street. One lit but not too brightly. And that was occupied, but not too heavily. One to allow her to walk down without notice of blood stains but to also be lost within.

In her car, she sighed heavily. A moment of silence. Then screams. Tears streamed down her face. She wasn't sad. This felt like true justice. Finally.

She drove home in silence. Completely drained. Her body ached, and her throat burned. Despite absorbing so much water, she felt dehydrated. She'd never used her quirk that intensely before.

The walk up the stairs into her apartment nearly caused her to black out. Inside, she fell to the ground. Groaning and writhing in pain on her kitchen floor.

Pain like this was very new. And she definitely registered all of it. In a desperate attempt to treat herself, she drank a large glass of water and bathed before using a topical pain cream. With a heavy dose of menstrual pain relievers.
