as the continent rambled about how he felt he was being left out from his closest friends he heard the small country sad something "can i have your number, i figured since we are kind of in the same boat we could talk over the phone, you know, so we don't loose contact?" Greenland asked the taller continent, he watched the continent pull his phone out of his pocket and began to read out the numbers slowly, making sure the smaller country got the numbers punched in on his phone. "hey it was nice chatting with you, even though we literally just met" antarctica laughed "y-yeah, it was nice..." Greenland realized he had been talking to the continent for a little bit longer than expected, "shit" Greenland cursed under his breath "bye man, hope you drink away your troubles without, well trouble" Greenland waved his hand while walking away from antarctica.
Greenland walked into his house, ignoring his father and walking straight to him and Iceland's room, he grabbed a random t-shirt and plaid pajama pants and went to the bathroom to take a shower, turning on the water he looked back into last year, when he was still in school, no friends, constantly alone, whispers behind his back, then he remembered a short boy who always talked about 'shipping' people. what was his name? he couldn't remember, he had a faint memory of being alone and the boy came over and randomly started talking about some guy named Germany, and a boy named France, when he asked who he was he squinted at Greenland and gasped, "oh my im sorry, i thought you where Poland!" that memory always came up in his head, everyone thought he was Poland at one point, heck he didn't even know who Poland was, it was quite frustrating, but he got done with his shower, he put on the t-shirt, realizing it was getting small on him, he ignored it an went straight to brushing his teeth,
When he got done and walked out he was met with the mischievous grin plastered on his uncle Norway's face "guess what!" his uncle said looking up at his nephew, "what..." Greenland sighed, "kids from you high-school are going to the same collage you are!" his uncle said beaming at him, Greenland's tiered face quickly turned into a terrified frown and wide eyes "ya okay kiddo?" Norway said while Greenland was shellshocked, instead of speaking Greenland shoved past his shorter uncle into the room across the bathroom. he closed the door behind him and leaned against the door, heaving a great sigh he looked at his younger brother, who was fast asleep by now. Greenland almost wished he was as brave as his brother. after taking a couple seconds to breath he looked at his phone, the unnamed contact sitting on his phone he walked over to the other side of the room and sat on his bed, naming the contact "iceberg" he flopped on his bed and set his alarm for 7 in the morning, knowing it wouldn't wake him up 'sigh' "today just keeps on getting better..." he said sarcastically while getting under the covers
"wakie wakie big bro!" Is what Greenland heard while opening his eyes, his vision was too fuzzy to see properly, but he knew who this was "hi icy, what's up?" Greenland said squinting in his brothers direction "oh nothing~ Im just gonna hang out with Ukraine! Do you wanna go with?" Iceland said giving a soft smile to his brother "i figure i was just gonna star inside today." Greenland said while yawning and rubbing his eyes, Iceland nodded in response, after Iceland walked out of the room Greenland quickly got on his phone and texted the new number on his phone
Greenboi- hey! you up?
Iceberg- whos this?
Greenboi- im the guy you met last night, remember?
Iceberg- oh yeah i remember, Greenland was it?
Greenboi- yup thats me!
the two talked for a while. realizing he hasn't even got out of bed Greenland said his goodbyes over text and got dressed, he wore a simple black turtle neck and a dark blue shirt overtop, keeping on his plaid pajama pants though, he walked out of the room and into the kitchen, grabbing a bowl of cereal and the milk he heard his phone buzz he looked at his texts
Iceberg- hey this is Antarctica's friend, but that doesn't matter, i just wanted to let you know he has some pretty bad drinking problems!!+ hes got real bad anger issues, byenowhegonnakillme
Greenland smiled at his phone, he put his phone back in his pocked and poured the milk in his cereal, sitting at the table where his uncle Finland was drunk passed in one of the other chairs, he watched a couple videos on his phone while eating, when he got done he heard his uncle say something in his drunken sleep, "noooooo denmarkkk youu cantt, its too early for himmm two onthdsss?! r u kidding lil brouuu" Greenland shrugged it off and cleaned out his bowl and sad it on the drying wrack, he then streatched, feeling his back crack he sighed, 'why does my dad make me do things he knows im not comfortable with, why cant he just leave me alone...' Greenland thought to himself.
not bothering to put oh his coat he walked outside, he saw people starting to get ready for Halloween, he noticed two more freakishly tall people, they looked even taller than antarctica, one was at least 14 foot and the other was a bit shorter, the taller one was wearing a sleeveless black turtleneck that looked like it was build for hot weather, the other wore a surprising amount of layers for just a little chilly of weather, he wondered if they might have know antarctica. Greenland sighed, checking his phone to see if his brother or his dad had texted, he saw a new message pop up just as took out his phone
dad- two months!
Greenboi- two months what?
dad- two months until you go to collage!!
Greenland's mind went back to what his uncle was saying "damnit!" he whisper yelled, he knew he couldn't get out of this.
dad- you there?
Greenboi-what collage am i going to?
dad- united university? why?
Greenboi- no reason

Greenland smiled as he walked inside 'at least ill have someone who i can talk too!' he then made a remark that they hadn't known eachother very long, he shrugged it off, "whats the worst that could happen?"
