When Mr. Yoo, was walking down the hallway of his company, his eyes landed on his daughter. "Jeongyeon," he called out, and she turned around to see her father. "Oh hey, father. What's up?" she asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.
Sensing the seriousness in his father's expression, he continued, "We need to talk, Jeongyeon. Come to my office," her father said, leading the way as Jeongyeon followed closely behind.

Once they reached the office, Mr. Yoo took his seat behind the desk, and Jeongyeon settled into the chair in front of him. "What happened? Is there something bothering you?" she inquired, noticing the anger on her father's face. Her father took a moment before responding, "Yes, your assistant and other employees are worried about you, and so am I."

Jeongyeon couldn't help but chuckle in confusion. "Worried about me? Why?" she questioned, genuinely surprised. Her father then explained that they had expressed concerns about Jeongyeon overworking herself, putting too much pressure on her shoulders. It seemed that her dedication and commitment to her work had caught the attention of those around her.

"Is it because of Sana?" he sighed and looked seriously at Jeongyeon.
"Well, yes, I have to finish all the work I have right now. But don't blame Sana for it"

"Aren't you working to meet her later? So I should technically blame her for that" her father said.

"Don't you ever" she stood up angrily and snapped "You thought I was dumb and wouldn't realize? I know why I got a lot of work recently and I know that you did so to make me feel exhausted and give up on her" she added and clenched her fist.

This accusation seems to confirm Jeongyeon's suspicions that her father is intentionally trying to exhaust her and discourage her relationship with Sana. In response, her father, with a forceful gesture, slams his hands on the desk and vehemently declares that Sana is not the right person for Jeongyeon.

"I'm sure Sana is the one and no matter what you have to say. I will marry her and it's soon" She looked directly into her father's eyes, her anger evident, she will follow her heart, regardless of the opinions of others, even her own father.

"Jeongyeon!" he yelled.

Jeongyeon's eyes narrowed as she confronted her father, her tone filled with determination. "I'm leaving now, but remember this," she said firmly. "No matter how much work you give me, I'll do it gladly. If it means I get to be with the love of my life, I'm willing to put in the effort." she declared before storming out, slamming the office door behind her.

Sana doesn't know that Jeongyeon's father has been intentionally overworking her to make her give up on her relationship with her. However, she is aware that Jeongyeon's parents are against their relationship.

Sana, exhausted from a long day at work, reached for her phone on her cluttered desk. With a sense of anticipation, she tapped on Jeongyeon's name and scrolled through their heartfelt text messages. As she read their exchanges, a radiant smile spread across her face, and her heart fluttered with warmth and affection.

However, as much as she cherished their written words, Sana yearned for more. She longed to hear Jeongyeon's voice. Aware that she might be caught up in a busy schedule or a pressing meeting, she decided to send her a text message instead. Before she sent the text she received one from her lover.

Jeongyeon
sana are you free right now?
Sana
hey baby
yes i am
Jeongyeon
can i call you?
Sana
of course my love

Sana's face lit up with a bright smile as she dialed her lover's name. "Hey, I was just about to call," Sana exclaimed with a giggle.

"Hey," Jeongyeon's voice came through the phone in a low tone, accompanied by a sigh. Sana frowned as she noticed her sad expression and heard the exhaustion in her voice. "What's up, babe?" she asked softly, concern evident in her voice.

"It's just work as usual. Plus, I've missed you so much. I wanted to hear your voice badly," Jeongyeon replied, her voice filled with a mixture of weariness and longing. Sana's heart melted at her words, and she couldn't help but smile back at her. "I miss you too, darling. But what's going on with work? We agreed to take things slow and not overwork ourselves, remember?" she gently reminded the older. "Yeah, I know, I'm sorry. It's just that I love you so much, and being apart hurts," Jeongyeon confessed.

Sana nodded sadly, understanding the pain of being apart from Jeongyeon. "Babe, I totally get how much it sucks to have this distance between us. But I promise, when we finally meet, we'll conquer it together. I can't wait for that day, to hold you close and shower you with kisses. Let's wait it out, just a little longer. We've got this. I believe in us." Sana's voice softened as she reassured her, understanding her longing.

"Sana," the older called her, her voice filled with uncertainty. Sana hummed, waiting for her to speak. "Do you truly believe we can make it through this?" she asked, a heavy sigh escaping her lips. Sana's smile widened, radiating confidence and love. "Absolutely, my love. Not only will we overcome this distance, but we'll also create the most incredible memories together. Just have faith, babe. Our time will come, and it will be worth the wait." Jeongyeon nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, reassured by Sana's unwavering belief in their love.

After a few seconds of silence, Jeongyeon finally broke the silence with a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards her girlfriend. "Thank you, Sana," she said, a small smile of appreciation forming on her face. Sana, equally touched by her words, responded with a grin, "Of course, babe."

Their tender moment was abruptly interrupted by a knock on Sana's door. She glanced at the door, then back at Jeongyeon, who inquired about the visitor. "Who is it?"

Sana, still holding her phone, called out for the person to come in.

"Miss, the meeting is about to start," the assistant informed her.

Realizing the time constraint, Sana reluctantly informed her assistant that she would be there in a minute. Her assistant nodded and left the office. Sana turned her attention back to Jeongyeon, pouting slightly. "Babe, I have to go now," she said, a tinge of disappointment in her voice.

Understanding the demands of her work, Jeongyeon responded with understanding. "Okay, my love. We'll talk tonight. I love you so much, take care of yourself," she expressed. Sana reciprocated her love, her grin returning. "You too, babe. I love you so much too," she said, unable to resist kissing the screen as a playful gesture.

With a final exchange of affectionate words, Jeongyeon kissed the screen as well, bidding her farewell. "Bye," Sana said, ending the call with a smile on her face.
