Your Reason

Let me be the beacon guiding your survival's quest,
Rekindling life within your weary chest.

Make me the haven where you seek escape's embrace,
Beneath my fractured wing, find your sacred space.

Release your heart's torrent, embrace your inner storm,
In breakdowns and turmoil, together we'll transform.

I shall stand unwavering when your strength feels frail,
Your sanctuary in the tempest, where fears grow pale.

In moments of uncertainty, when your path's astray,
Even as I shatter, I'll brighten your darkest day.

It's unjust, the smiles we share despite your nightly fight,
But I vow to protect you, hold you close each night.

Just share your thoughts with me, don't hide them deep inside,
In these words, find solace, let nothing hide.

For you, my dear, are my treasure,
In this world of pain, my lone pleasure

Words may fall short, describing what you mean to me,
With you, I'm finally feeling free.

As this poem nears its close, I hope you have an idea,
That you, love, are my "reason to" in every criteria.

I hope you believe this, for it's forever true,
Now, I'm taking this chance to say,

I. Love. You.
