Chapter 15

Rimuru POV

One day had passed since Kage's departure, and the town of Tempest was slowly beginning to adjust to its new reality. Rimuru, ever the diligent leader, had been hard at work overseeing the town's daily operations, managing the residents' needs, and strategizing for its future growth.

From his makeshift office within his own tent, Rimuru poured over maps and documents, carefully planning the development of Tempest. The town had been a refuge for monsters and unique beings, and while the houses and facilities were still tents, the foundation for progress had been firmly laid. Construction would soon commence on more permanent structures. 

The gentle breeze carried with it the sweet scent of freshness from the forest, and the sound of birdsong filled the air. Rimuru couldn't help but smile, despite the lingering sadness in his heart. Kage's departure had left an irreplaceable gap in their group, but it was his determination honor his brother's legacy by continuing the work they had started together.

Deep in thought, Rimuru returned to his duties. There were matters to attend to, and he was determined to ensure that Tempest continued to thrive in Kage's absence.

Elsewhere, in a cozy corner of Tempest, Shizu's eyes slowly fluttered open. Her awakening was a gentle one, free from the chaotic memories and fire that often accompanied her rebirth. Instead, she awoke to a room filled with soft, warm sunlight and the soothing sound of a nearby stream.

She sat up, feeling a sense of tranquility hadn't experienced in a long time. The once-fiery and unpredictable Shizu had been tamed by Rimuru's kindness and Kage's wisdom. 

As she stretched and yawned, Shizu couldn't help but recall the events of the previous days. After a few minutes she finally calm down from the shock that she is finally free from her shackles. Although she still doesn't know the changes of her body but that can wait her first objective for now is to talk to Rimuru or Kage to know the situation. After sometime a Goblina finally open the tent and saw Shizu  sitting cross legged in her bed. 

Goblina: "Lady Shizu your finally awake, I'm just going to call Rimuru-sama." The goblina immediately try to leave but was stop by Shizu

Shizu: "Wait, Can you also bring~"

But before Whizu finished her sentence the goblina immediately leave the tent to inform Rimuru about Shizu status

With a newfound sense of purpose, Shizu rose from her bed and prepared for the day ahead. There were responsibilities awaiting her in Tempest, and she was eager to contribute to the town's continued growth and prosperity.

Back in Rimuru's chamber within the Great Temple, the leader of Tempest reviewed the reports and updates from various departments. The town was bustling with activity, and Rimuru was grateful for the support and dedication of its residents.

Rimuru: thought "Kage, you've left quite an impression on all of us. But I know you wouldn't want us to dwell on your absence. We'll carry on in your honor and make the most of each day."

As Rimuru is doing his chores A goblina enter the tent and immediately kneel in front of her lord

Rimuru: "What happend."

Goblina: "Rimuru-sama, Shizu-sama is already awake."

Rimuru: "Really, then I should visit her. Also prepare a food and deliver it to her tent."

Goblina: "As you wish Rimuru-sama"

Rimuru immediately leave her tent while the goblina leave after Rimuru ordered her to prepare the food.

A few more minutes Rimuru is now outside Shizue's tent thinking how to explain to shizue the past events that happened.

Inside the tent Shizue is sitting at the edge of the bed waiting for Rimuru to come in because she already sense Rimuru outside her tent.

Rimuru slowly open the curtain that hanged at the entrance of the tent.

While Rimuru is slowly entering the tent Shizue was shock because what she expected is a slime that will bounce when he enter the tent is now a little boy/girl that has an age of 10 with have a big resemblance of her face and can be mistaken as her child.

Shizue: "Is thhhat yooou Rimuuru" Shizue ask while stuttering

Rimuru: "Yes Shizue-san, and I'm sorry for analyzing your body when Kage heal you"

Shizue: "Analyze!, you don't mean tha~." Shizue said while blushing

Rimuru: " No Shizue-san I didn't do anything to your body I promise. It's my skill that analyze you not me."

Shizue just look at Rimuru at the corner of her eyes while her face is facing at the opposite direction trying to cover her blush.

Before the moods get more complicated the goblina that is task to bring food for Shizue enter the tent.

Goblina: "Rimuru-sama here's the food that you ordered."

Rimuru: "Just put it at the table"

Goblina: "Yes."

After placing the food to the table the goblina immediately leave the tent sensing the negative mood of the room.

Shizue is the first one to speak.

Shizue: "I trust you Rimuru-san but can at least don't make it a bit younger it's quite embarrassing" Shizue said shyly

Rimuru: "Sure Shizue-san"

Rimuru body began to extend from 12cm to 149cm slightly smaller than Shizue that has an height of 155cm

Rimuru: "Is this ok Shizue-san?"

Shizue: "Yes, it's more comfortable to talk too."

Rimuru: "That's a relief!"

Shizue: "By the way Rimuru-san can you update me on what happened this few days while I'm asleep and where is Kage I still didn't have the chance to thank him"

After mentioning Kage name a sad expression is covering the face of Rimuru and it didn't go unnoticed by the girl that is in front of him

Shizue: "Did something happened to Kage?" Shizue ask

Rimuru: "No, It's just that Kage already leave this place to explore the world."

Shizue: "What!, he didn't even wait for me to wake up to properly to thank him."

Rimuru: "Well that's Kage for you he doesn't care this trivial things. And don't worry, I know he already know your sincerity even before Ifrit rampage because that guy won't usually don't do this kind of things if he didn't see it valuable"

Shizue: "He is the most unique being that I encounter in my whole life"

Rimuru: "Yeah I feel you. Enough with Kage he will probably just comeback when he is finished traveling, I will now tell you what happened while you were asleep.
