seven. a truce

"forehead kisses are just so romantic" viviana rolled her eyes as jeremiah nodded

"you should also stop staring at belly whenever I am literally next to you"

"i don't stare at her" jeremiah denied

"yes you do" viviana didn't seem bothered at all by jeremiah staring at belly and it made jeremiah bothered how unbothered she was

even though he would never admit something like that, not even to himself

"fine" jeremiah huffed as viviana smiled

"i am sorry" jeremiah mumbled after a moment of silence

"what?" viviana sounded confused

"for everything I said" jeremiah coughed "i shouldn't have been that rude to you when I am the one who said we were dating"

"okay" viviana didn't sound okay at all "that doesn't mean I like you"

"yea I know" jeremiah mumbled as viviana just sat there awkwardly

"so a truce?" viviana asked softly as jeremiah chuckled quietly

"yea a truce"

viviana didn't get to speak as the door was being opened making her head turn immediately towards it with a frown on her face

and just as a brown haired boy came in view he put his hands on his waist while staring accusingly at viviana

"you are avoiding me to spend time with your boyfriend now?" justin accused the girl as she stammered to get an answer

"of course not!" viviana finally managed to say as Justin scoffed

"you owe me alot viviana martin" justin sat between the two, with a smile on his face

"let's watch a movie!" justin spoke up again looking at the two

"i am not watching the notebook though" justin continued as viviana frowned

"we never watched the notebook before" viviana pointed out, before jeremiah could speak up

jeremiah was about to suggest a movie, when the door knocked making viviana grin as she immediately stood up and went towards the door.

when viviana returned, she put down the pizza and went to get them plates, jeremiah and justin ended up choosing a movie

although just as viviana sat down, justinʼs phone started ringing, and he ignored the first two times, yet answered it on the third call

"sure! put it on, it's probably the pizza" viviana immediately walked away as Justin turned to jeremiah with a smirk

"how long have you and vivi been together?" justin asked as jeremiah thought for a moment

"a few weeks" jeremiah only gave a short answer

" how many weeks? " justin pressed

right before jeremiah could come up with an answer, justinʼs phone started ringing making him answer it immediately, his tone changing into a gentle one making jeremiah raise his eyebrow as he watched the other boy hesitate slightly then eventually leave, without saying a goodbye to viviana.

so as the two sat comfortably, watching episode four of outer banks, the bell started ringing making viviana frown as she walked towards the door.
