A Starry Night (1)

Dark x Light

Light walked on the road to Times house, hoping to talk to Sabre

"Its late..." Light tells himself, "He might not be up," Light knocks on the door. It opens

"Now's not the best-" Dark starts, then he makes eye contact

Light's eyes narrow.

"Hello Dark." Light states, "Is Sabre awake?" He asks

"Hey... Light... Yeah, He's awake but not for much longer... Time is forcing him to go the sleep. He hasn't slept in three days" Dark says looking at his feet.

"Then may I come in? I can just tell Time after he's done with Sabre" Light says already walking into the home

Dark walks over to the kitchen 

"Would- Would you like dinner?" Dark asks, knowing the answer.

"No... No thank you" Light Steve says, "This sit is... comfy" He sarcastically says. Light starts to look out the window.

Dark notices and looks out the window too.

"Nice night right?" Dark mutters, Light hums.

"Sure is, haven't seen a night like this since I was a Orange Steve" Light whispers.

Silence 

"You know, I've always wondered something..." Light starts, "How is it that you can still be friends with Sabre, even though you betrayed him... what...?  Eight times" Light's cold eyes stared at the bean behind the counter

Silence

"I didn't mean t-too" Dark stutters.

No matter what Dark did he always felt flushed around Light.

"A-After all, darkness makes someone c-crazy" Dark mumbles

"Alrighty bird brains, your foods on fire" Light says, starting to look out the window again.

Dark looks behind him and puts out the fire in panic.

He turns around to face Light 

"I want to know why you hate me so much!" Dark says at his normal tone, to not wake up Sabre. "I get it, I hurt steves! I hurt Sabre! But I wasn't in control of those decisions! I asked for forgiveness, and you continue to belittle me" Dark wipes tears from his eyes. 

Light frowns

"Dark- Dark calm down-" Light stands up and walks over to the kitchen where Dark is. "I don't hate you- I don't even mean to belittle you, It's just..." Light pats Dark on the back, "It just comes out, and I can't take it back-" 

Dark wipes his final tear away from his face. "You don't hate me??" Dark mutters.

"I don't hate you..." Light sighs

Dark hugs him, Light blushes. 

"Light... I'm sorry for everything I put you and Sabre through" Dark mentions, Light starts to hug Dark back.

"You don't have to apologize Dark, I went through some of the same stuff..." Light says "Its hard to be a new type of steve, and only you and I will understand that..."   

Dark and Light stop hugging whilst blushing, then realization comes to Dark mind

"Why has it taken so long to put Sabre asleep?" Dark asks

"You've met Sabre..." Light says sitting on the counter sit.

"Yeahhh" Dark agrees. Dark grabs some ingredients from the fridge

"Hey Dark?" Light asks, "Is that offer of food still on the table?" Light smiles

"Of course! but you've got to help me... I don't know what I'm doing" Dark admits 

Light laughs

And for the rest of that hour they cooked and laughed
