Eleventh Flag - Don't Get Taken As A Hostage

Start from the beginning

Two of the soldiers were holding the prisoner down while the third held his bleeding hand, having been bitten. The shirt had been partially torn off the prisoner, and it didn't take a genius to understand the ongoing situation.

"Hey!!!" Felix barked, seeing red. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!?"

The soldiers immediately straightened up, visibly startled – but then they relaxed upon noticing Felix, one of them even laughing.

"Oh, look boys – another Omega. Lucky us, eh?" jeered one of them.

"Wait, ain't he the personal guard of Prince Hwang?" recognized another.

"Personal whore, more like it," snorted the third one.

Felix pulled up his jade crest, glaring at the three of them. "I can and will have you demoted if you don't release the prisoner and step out right this instant—"

"Oh yeah?" The one who'd been bitten suddenly grabbed the prisoner's torn shirt and partly ripped it off. "We ain't doing nothing wrong. Just teaching this damned spy a lesson. Who cares what happens? He's gonna die anyway!"

The three of them laughed, and Felix saw red when the man's hands began wandering over the prisoner's body, the poor Omega weakly trashing against his captors. Uncaring of the potential consequences, Felix unsheathed his sword and walked right up to the cell, jabbing the tip against the soldier's back just enough for him to know he meant business.

"I said: get out," he growled.

The man tilted his head back toward him, baring his teeth. "Get lost."

The Alpha Voice sent a violent shudder down Felix's spine, his instincts bristling as his very bones soaked up the order – but after defying the Alpha Voice of the King himself, Felix couldn't help but deem it weak.

He only answered to one Alpha, and it certainly wasn't that guy.

So, without hesitating any longer, Felix whipped his sword to the side, cutting into the soldier's arm. It wasn't a deep wound by any mean, but it was certainly enough to draw blood – and, at the same time, the ire of the Alpha.

"You fucking bitch!"

Felix had been training with Hyunjin for months. He'd learned how to wield a sword and how to fight and, while he certainly wouldn't win in a fair fight against his mentor, he was still strong enough to hold his ground. As such, he'd been fairly confident upon attacking the soldier that he'd be able to win.

That is, until the Alpha decided to literally pounce on him.

The soldier tackled him to the ground, effectively knocking the sword right out of Felix's hand. Pain exploded in the back of Felix's head as it collided with the floor, but he didn't even have the time to linger on it as two, strong hands immediately closed around his throat.

"Beg for your life, little whore," snarled the enraged soldier, blood dripping down the wound on his arm and onto Felix's face.

In answer, Felix threw a handful of sand in his face. The Alpha cried out, immediately releasing him, and Felix used that opportunity to punch him right in the throat. He then shoved the Alpha right off of him, jumping to his feet and picking up his sword again.

Another of the soldiers immediately joined the fray, his sword clashing violently with Felix's. The Omega managed to withstand the blow and counter with one of his own, using an unexpected opening to stab the man right in the shoulder, making him stumble back with a cry. A shout to his left made him glance back, and he was surprised to find the prisoner suddenly attacking the third soldier and struggling to take him down. But then, the soldier pulled out a knife, obviously determined to silence him, and Felix's blood ran cold.
