DREAM OR FAME

I see it, oh yes I see it;
A vision so clear like a vivid evocation.
Of a life beyond other's average expectations;
I proved them wrong, I shuttered their assumptions.

I see it, oh I see it;
The gorgeous gowns and everybody smiling,
The flushing cameras with every door I walk in.
Every detail of my life dictated by what I'm posting,
Maintaining my composure, just keep on posing.

I can feel the hurt and joy caused by the comments,
Which seem to matter the most just for a moment.
I can feel the love and support from every fan,
But there's two sides of a leaf, don't forget the darker one.
I feel the warmth of satisfaction and achievement,
The acceptance, pride and comfort.
With my name as a brand,
Famously known world wide.

I can hear the excited crowds,
Chorusing versus in my words.
I am one of the greatest,
And that's not to debate.
I'm dining at the same table,
With everyone thought capable.
This is what I envision when I close my eyes,
Just hoping it's not a fleeting phase passing by.

Is it a dream, a goal, an expectation or an illusion?
It's so unrealistic some may call it a delusion.
But I won't go for less than the best,
It is my future, won't listen to the rest.
Nothing under the sky is impossible,
I'll trust my ambition, I won't remain feeble.
I'll follow the path my heart takes me,
To what's curved in stone, to my destiny.
But if fate declines what I desire with zest,
At least, at the very least, I tried my best!
