SURVIVE

Within I've been fighting demons,
Demons I've hid for seasons.
Tough been the years,
Soaked in salty, yet sweet tears.
Lately been facing my fears,
Measures to fit in with peers.

It's not an easy job,
Sometimes I think I may just stop.
The more you struggle the faster you sink;
Just take a moment and try to think.
Survival for the fittest it's said,
But I say survival for the smartest.
For the smartest solve the trickiest puzzles,
With no brains trust me it's a hustle.

To fit in might seem right,
But to lose yourself is unjust.
To play your cards right,
All obstacles you must fight.
Self-healing prioritize,
Happiness will be your prize.
Let them be, let them see,
Just how bright your smile can be.
Stand firm and overcome,
Even the roughest of seas.

A diamond darling you are,
Rarest for sure by far.
Bravely you've been through it all,
A pride to never let them see you fall.
Life is about ups and downs,
And for that you must get a few frowns.
A smile a day keeps depression away,
Keep it up till you find your way.
Plays do give a good pay,
But be careful, lest you will sway.
