Groans began filling the room but Alaric still continued, "Hopefully, we'll be able to reschedule this... unique event... at a later date. A much, much later date."

"Kinda of overkill if you ask me. I told your dad that a unicorn barely counts as a monster." Hope said.

"A unicorn? Do unicorns exist? How come I've never seen one until now? Can I go see it?" Lucy asked Hope making her laugh at her girlfriend's excitement over a unicorn.

Lucy was walking around trying to find her girlfriend who happened to still have classes and leaving Lucy to herself. She was gonna go talk to Alaric about the monster but before she could arrive at his office she heard her name.

"Lucy!"

Lucy turned around to find Penelope alone, which was unusual to see. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"How do you know something's wrong?" Penelope said, "I can feel it, so what's wrong?"

Penelope sighed, she might have not known Lucy for long but she had grown to like Lucy as a friend. Her only true friend, "I'm leaving." Penelope finally said.

"What? No, are you serious?" Lucy questioned not believing her.

"Yes I'm serious, my parents are moving to Belgium in a couple of days," Penelope gave her a sad smile.

"Have you told Josie?"

"I will."

Lucy was at a loss for words, she liked Penelope but just as a friend. Penelope reminded Lucy of a close friend she had before she retired from Hell, Mazikeen. Mazikeen can be violent, wrathful, and ruthless but she is incredibly misunderstood, like Penelope.

"I'm not very good at this whole friendship thing, but..." Lucy sighed, "I'm really gonna miss you."

Penelope couldn't help but smile, "I see the devil does have a heart after all."

Lucy rolled her eyes but still had a slight smile on her face as she wrapped her arms around Penelope and she did the same. "I'm going to miss you so much," Penelope said, chuckling as Lucy hugged her tighter.

"Thank you," Penelope whispered, "for what?" Lucy asked. "For understanding me and being the only friend I can truly count on."

"I promise to come and visit you once in a while, I hear France is a beautiful place," Lucy said pulling away and facing the witch, "you better," She looked at her sternly.

"You have my word."

"Where do we start?" Lucy asked her girlfriend who was wandering around her room trying to figure out what talent they could do together.

"Well, you play the piano, that's a talent," Hope said.

Lucy looked up, "I-I well, I'm not that good at it, let's find something else," she stuttered.

"Umm, sure," Hope couldn't help but be skeptical of Lucy, she was different, she's Lucy but something was off. "How about we try and figure out what we're both good at?" she asked.

Lucy nods, "Yeah."
