I'm not scared anymore

Chapter twenty eight: We have a problem

          We stayed like that with Aether for a good while. I was just falling asleep when i got startled by the loud yell from outside of the room. "Come eat!" Swiss yelled. Aether started to stand up from the bed. "Let's go" He said. "I think i could sleep for a while if that's okay. You can go though" I said to Aether.

          "Are you sure?" Aether asked. "Yeah, i'll call for you if something comes up." I said. "But i think you should eat something." Aether said. "I will, i'll just rest for a while first." I said. "Okay." Aether said a little unsure. "I'll be right back." Aether said leaving the room.

          I let out a deep sigh and closed my eyes. I ended up falling asleep for a while, when i woke up i noticed Aether sitting in an armchair in the corner of the room. "Are you sleeping?" I asked quietly. He didn't answer.

          He must be also exhausted from all of this too. I laid on the bed watching Aether sleeping on the chair, when i heard a faint knock on the door. "Yeah?" I said quietly, trying not to wake Aether up. Swiss stepped into the room.

         "Is he asleep?" He asked quietly. I nodded. "We decided that we would go for a little walk, just to you know, kill some time. Are you two fine staying here while we go?" Swiss asked. "Yeah, actually could you help me to the living room so Aether can sleep in peace?" I asked. "Yeah, of course." Swiss said.

         I wrapped my arms around his neck as he lifted me from the bed. I tried my best not to show any sign from the pain i was feeling as i moved. "How are you feeling?" Swiss asked while heading to the sofa. "Fine." I answered.

         Swiss stopped in front of the sofa and placed me down. "Just call us if something comes up, we won't be long" Swiss said. "Yeah, have fun." I said. With that Swiss headed out of the door rushing after everyone else.

          I let out a deep sigh and grabbed the remote to the tv. I started to surf through the channels trying to find a show to watch.

         Something like 15 minutes after Swiss and the others had left the door opened. "Did you forget something?" I asked, not bothering to watch who had entered the cottage.

         "No we didn't" A male voice said. My head snapped to the direction where the voice came. "You are the ghoulette from the church, how are you still alive?" Another voice said.

         There were two ghouls standing in front of the outside door. "Who are you?" I asked, scared. "I am Alpha and that is Omega" Alpha said. "Where is everyone?" Alpha asked. "Not here" I said. "So are you saying that it's just you hanging out here? All by yourself?" Omega asked. "All of you need to return to the church." Alpha said. "There is no way we would do that before it's safe." I said.

         "You don't understand. Sister is furious after you and Ifrit ran away. You need to return." Omega said. "She is going to kill us if we do." i said. "She is going to kill Zephyr." Omega said. "What do you mean?" I asked.

         "After Ifrit and you left, Susan blamed us. She captured Zephyr and said that she is going to kill him if we don't at least get you and Ifrit back." Alpha said. "There is no way i'm going to go back. Maybe if we all work together we could get rid of Sister Susan once and for all?" I suggested.

         "I'm sorry but we can't take that risk." Alpha said, heading towards me. "What no! I'm not going back!" I screamed. "I'm sorry, i wish we had another choice." Alpha said. "No, don't touch me." I yelled.

        Alpha stood now next to me, trying to lift me from the couch, while i tried to back away from him. "AETHER!" I yelled as loud as i could. "What? Shut up" Alpha said, placing his hand over my mouth. "AETHER!" I tried yelling again, but my voice was muffled by Alpha's hand.

         I tried to struggle out of his hold, but it was no use. "Please don't do this, i can't go back." I begged. "Like i said, i wish we had another choice." Alpha said.

      Suddenly i heard a door slamming open. "Sunshine?!" Aether asked worriedly as he rushed out of the room. "What the hell? Get your hands off her" Aether said angrily. "Stay right there" Alpha said, quickly wrapping his arm around me, holding me in place threateningly.

          "Let her go, right now!" Aether yelled. "DON'T MOVE" Alpha yelled. "Just let her go, let's talk about this." Aether tried. "There is nothing to talk about, we don't return with at least her and Ifrit, Susan is going to kill Zephyr. Aether, we don't have a choice." Omega says.

         "What if we all help you to get Zephyr back. We can't let Susan destroy our church." Aether says. "I don't know. What could we do, she has all of the church's clergy on her side." Omega says. "She is Christian, if we let her continue this, she is going to destroy our church." Aether says.

         "Aether, we can't lose Zephyr." Omega says. "I know and i am offering our help to get him back, just let her go, okay?" Aether says.

        Alpha and Omega looked at each other, trying to figure out what they should do. "Okay, but call your friends to get here now." Alpha said. "Yeah okay. Can you just let go of her, please?" Aether asked. "Call them first." Alpha said, still holding me in place.

       "It's okay Aether." I said. Aether pulled his phone from his pocket and started calling.

Ifrit: Hey Aether, what's up?
Aether: You need to return here, how long will you take?
Ifrit: Umm, not long. Why though?
Aether: We have a problem.
Ifrit: What kind of problem?
Aether: *Gives phone to Omega*
Omega: Hey, Ifrit. Just do as your buddy tells you, okay?
Ifrit: Omega?!
Omega: We are waiting. Be quick.

Omega ended the phone call and gave the phone back to Aether. "Can you now let her go, please?" Aether asked. "What if she tries something stupid?" Alpha asked. "Come on dude, she can't even walk." Aether said. "Alpha just let her go." Omega said.

        With that Alpha let go of me and stepped to stand next to Omega. I lifted myself back to sitting on the sofa. Aether rushed to the sofa and sat next to me, wrapping his arms around me protectively.

       "Are you okay? Where did everyone go?" Aether whispered. "No whispering." Alpha said. "They left to get some air, i asked Swiss to help me here so you could sleep." I answered. "You didn't need to do that, Sunny" Aether said.

       Before i could answer we heard a group of footstep getting closer to the door. Soon after the door  swung open and a group of worried ghouls rushed in.
