She had a good sleep last night knowing she was in the comfort of her home. She really felt safe and happy sa piling nang pamilya niya.
Bumaba na ang dalaga mula sa kaniyang kwarto para kumain ng almusal. Nandoon na naghihintay sa dining table ang kaniyang Mommy, Daddy at mga kapatid.
"Ate halika na, kain na tayo." Pang aaya ng nakababatang kapatid sa kanya.
"Thank you, Kai."
"Coleen, enough with the gadgets muna. Kakain na tayo."
In the middle of eating their breakfast, bigla nalang silang nakarinig ng nahulog na baso kasabay ng pagtumba ng kanyang ama.
"Dad! What happened?! Are you okay?" Tugon ni Camille.
"My gosh, Hon!"
"Mel..uuggh." He couldn't finish what his saying and just groaned at the pain.
"Oh my gosh, Dad! Coleen, get the phone and call an ambulance. Bilis!"

"Mrs. Suarez, I'm afraid the cancer is back. He needs to continue his dialysis as soon as possible." The doctor stated.
"Oh no..." mangiyak-ngiyak si Melissa ng marinig ang balita.
"Mom, stay strong. We have to fight this. We'll do anything para gumaling si Dad." Cam is trying not to cry in front of her Mom.

CAM'S POV
Gosh! I can't believe na ito yung uuwian ko. Gaano na ba katagal na iniinda ni Dad ito? He's been working so hard all these years to provide for us, yet he forgot to take care of his health.
Dad has a stage 2 kidney cancer 7 years ago. He went through a lot of treatment and surgeries and was diagnosed cancer free.
But hearing the news earlier really broke my heart. Bumalik sakin yung mga panahon na nilalabanan niya yung cancer niya. It was too much to bear for us. Pero kung nalampasan namin dati yun, I'm sure malalampasan din namin ito ngayon.
I heard a vibrate on dad's belt bag that I'm carrying.
Oh, someone's calling. 'Jake' yung nakalagay.
"Hello?"
"Who's this? Where's Kuya Mike?"
"He's here in the hospital right now."
"Wait, what?!"
Makasigaw naman toh oh
"Which hospital? I'm going there right now."
Matapos kong ibigay ang address nang hospital ay agad naman niya akong binabaan ng telepono.
Sino ba siya sa akala niya. Parang hindi naturu an nang manners.

Dad just woke up. He fell asleep while they're doing some tests on him.
"Ikaw muna dito anak. I just have to take care of some things. I'll be back." Bilin sakin ni Mommy.
"Sure, Mom."
Umupo ako sa tabi ni Dad.
"How are you feeling, dad?"
"Medyo okay naman anak. Pasensya kana ha, kakarating mo palang, problema na agad. Hayaan mo pagkalabas ko dito magbobonding tayong pamilya."
"Dad, don't worry about it. Intindihin mo muna yung health mo ngayon-"
