I'm sitting in the changing room at Barcelona and I zoned out for a minute thinking
It's my last day at my childhood club don't get me wrong I love playing for Barcelona but there's not much to do we win Neely all our games there's not much challenge that's why I'm moving
I never thought I would be moving for the one club I have always wanted to play at but after play here since 15 now I'm 19
When I got a call last month with an offer from a club I new I need to go there so I'm leaving it hasn't been announced yet to the players or fans
I feel bad that I haven't told the team yet but I don't know how I've grown to love each and everyone of them
I new I need to tell them before they find out from someone else
I snap out and stand up I go to the centre of the room " hey guys can u all come here pls "
All the talking stops a few of the older ones look worried they all gathered around me " hey so ... I don't know what to say I guess thank you all for everything thank u for helping me I know I can be stupid sometimes...
I know there was a rumour going around the tabloids earlier last year that I was leaving Barcelona and I told u I wasn't ... last summer I went on a trip to England I fell in love with London when I got back I started to think about how many more trophies I could get if I moved so when I got a call form a club in England last month I new I had to leave Barcelona no matter where I go or what team I join Barcelona will be my home and u need to leave home at some point so today is my last day as a player for Barcelona "
I have never heard the changing room this quiet never in the 5 years I've been with this club has it been this quiet it kinda makes me feel scared
Mapi and ingrid where the first to step forward they where kinda like my mums they helped me through a lot of stuff they hug me and eventually all the team hugs me
