This story follows the character of a 20 year old Naran, a very rare species...
I've decided to name my bakery "Titi's sweets", Titi was the one name I heard growing up that truly made me feel loved. It came from my big brother Shahim. In the house he was the only one that truly cared for me and looked out for me. He was the one to praise and encourage my idea of owning my own shop and I thought that the best way to honor the love he's been giving me, was to name my place after the nickname he gave me. When I initially told him that I wanted to move to the human realm and own a bakery, he helped me every step f the way. He put in a few words with a friend of his and next thing I know, I'm signing papers to own my own little building. Funny enough, its wayyy bigger on the inside.

It's been a month since I opened up and it's been AMAZING! My brother has been doing his best to help get the word out that I've opened up, even his friends have been helping. As of right now its only Me, Jax, Zulu, and Kia, it's a lot easier than having to go and actually hire people and to top it off they picked their own jobs. Kia is the most "Human", she handles over the phone calls and online transactions, she also does deliveries seeing as she can fly. Jax helps carries out customers food, on trays of course, he also helps out with the occasional aggressive customer. Zuzu, being the smallest, helps out with taking orders at the front whenever I can't. Alongside being the owner , Can't believe I can FINALLY say this, but I also get to be the chef.
My two best friends, Alysha and Myla are visiting home right now. Myla is a Siren, while Alysha is a mermaid, funny enough they grew up together as their pods had an agreement placed between them. They told me that once they came back to Akamont they'd help me with my bakery. Myla would help Kia with deliveries and Alysha would help Zuzu with the customers. Of course we'd all work together when it came to cleaning up the shop, but it feels good to know that I have people to count on even when I'm telling them I want to be independent.
