This story takes place in a world just like ours, yet completely different at the same time. A world where technology and magic roam freely together.......At least somewhat
This story follows the character of a 20 year old Naran, a very rare species...
Once I saw that the two men had left my store I locked the door and turned to the others
"W-what were you guys thinking?! Talking t-to others?! What if they go and tell s-someone about us, a-about me?!" I wailed
They sat quietly while I ranted before Kia spoke "Don't worry Titi we can trust them, have we ever done anything thay could harm you on purpose?" She looked so sure of herself
"No, but we don't know them" I sighed "Relax, we know trustworthy people when we see them" spoke Jax ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After our little discussion we went home. Once we made it home everyone went to their separate areas and relaxed. As I was reading a book I heard my favorite ring tone which meant my big brother Shahim was calling.
"Hello?" I questioned "Hey little sister, how's your day been?" "Very busy, but tell me about yours first" "Nothing big really happened aside from Kovalt shading for his first time" he spoke
My brother works as an animal keeper, but instead of regular animals, he works with magical ones. Kovalt is an Ash dragon who is only 9 months old.
"That's amazing!" I smiled
"I know, right" I could hear his smile "What about you?"
I sighed thinking about how he might react. My brother has always been extremely supportive of me and my dreams. But he was also super protective
"What's the matter?, Are you okay?" He questioned
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just wondering how I'll explain all of this"
It took me about 14 minutes to explain everything to him and by the end he was talking about how he was going to come up and act as my bodyguard. We laughed but then he told me that if I needed him he was only a call away.
Once the call was ended I decided that I was going to go on a short flight while dinner cooked and the others took their naps. As I flew I saw everything. Children playing, Cars going, animals living. It all made me conjure up one question: Why can't life be that simple?

As I landed on a beach I looked off into the distance, only to be met with the figure of Artino Clothing & Modeling. It made me ponder over whether or not this was a good idea. The pros were that I'd get more experience, it's a lot of money , and I might even make new friends. As for the cons , I can't think of any.
This might actually have been a good idea, even though I didn't do much towards it I didn't exactly protest against it.
"This might be just what I need to open up more" I hummed
