"Argh! This is a load of cow turd!" Chip yelled out angrily.

"You mean bull..." Dale was going to say before getting interrupted.

"Yes! You know what I mean! And I don't care what that woman or even the royal highness herself says! Twilight Sparkle is our kidnapper!" Chip yelled out.

"Chip, I think you're overthinking this a little...." Dale attempted to say to try to calm him down, but Chip refuses to believe that he is overreacting about the whole thing.

"No. I am not! You may not see the evil in that pony, but I do." Chip protested.

"Sigh. This is serious Chip. It's not just about the case anymore. It's about upholding the law and...." Dale tried to explain before getting cut off again.

"That's not the point! Ugh. Never mind. You wouldn't understand what it's like to be humiliated by the one criminal, who can't even be caught by the law, you sought to put away." Chip said, sadly.

"Actually, I do. But it's not like I can't relate to how you're feeling or anything. I'm just doing this to keep you from getting any more trouble than we're already are." Dale advised him.

"I don't need your protection, I can take care of myself. Sigh. I'll be in my room, if you need me." Chip said before walking over to his room slowly in deep despair.

Leaving Dale alone, who then slumped over on the couch in a heave.

That was rough.

But somebody needed to tell him.

And while I don't want him to get hurt again....

I also didn't want him to feel stupid either for thinking that this 'twilight' girl may or may not be our culprit.

He deserves to know why he had lost his memories.

Just like those families out there needed to know what happened to their loved ones.

If only there was a way to see...

Dale thought until something had popped up in his mind.

"Wait a minute....." Dale mumbled out until he decided to retrace his memories and notices something odd that he didn't see before.

In one of the bookshelves of the house, lies a hidden retractable book that could easily be pulled by a magical elements using basic telekinesis.

Revealing a possible safe room filled with....the very victims of the case!

"They....were in that house this entire time? She just used a block bookshelf as a way to....Oh man. Now, I'm going crazy. But what if it's not just a theory. What if..... I can go back and see to for myself that any of them are actually there. But that would only mean.....I'd have to do this on my own." Dale noted to himself before looking over at the hallway where Chip's room was at and sighed.

It's too risky for us to go there the same way than we did before.

Who knows what she'd be capable of.

I can't lose you again.

I'll have to do this on my own this time.

And see if I can find a way to guide those people out of there when I get the chance.

Dale wondered while he sought an out a plan in mind to undo the mess that he had just now uncovered.

For the victims's sakes....

For Chip's.....

"I'm sorry Chip. I believe you now. I'll be back with all of the victims safely in their homes. And I'll even let the whole state of New York know that you were their hero. After all, you were my hero first and.... I'm very lucky to have you as my best friend. And someone who I....." Dale spoke out in a mumble before hints of blush bloom across his cheeks.

Has he always felt that way about him?

Or was it on the day when he had almost lost him during Chip's memory loss at the back of that alleyway.

Where he had stood there by his side for many hours at that hospital.

Just waiting for him to wake up so that he could take him home.

Either ways, it was something he had wanted to talk about for a long, long time.

As Dale slowly gets up from the couch and writes out a note and places it on a magnet to hang it onto the fridge for Chip so that he wouldn't worry about him too much before getting in his car and drives to the Equestria portal.

Where he will do right for Chip, who was someone that he had deeply cared about enough for him to admit that he had been in love with him all this time.
