The blood slowly dripped off her hands as she gets closer to me. "What are you accomplishing by doing this?" I asked, backing away from Zarah. "Just be quiet!" Zarah said, wiping the blood from her hands on her white dress. "Zarah!" A voice boomed into the room. "Ryuk, you followed me?" Zarah yelled, in frustration. Zarah then walked away from me and towards ryuk, outside the door. Zarah closed the door hard, on her way out.
I heard them talk outside the door. They were loud so I went to see what was up. I quickly opened the door. Zarah looked at me with her long pointy teeth bared. "You-your vampires?" I asked, terrified out of my mind.
Ryuk sighed. "Yes. We are vampires." I didn't freak out as much as I thought I would have. I think I am finally getting used to them. "We need you to join us." Ryuk said. A look of shock emerged upon my face. "Why me though?" I asked, still shocked about the question. "Because you can see us for some reason, so you can be very useful to us." Ryuk said. "Well I don't want to be a vampire!" I said, closing the door to my room. I held the door knob to keep them out. They were too strong. The door bursted open. "It's not a choice, you are becoming one of us!" Ryuk said, raising his voice. Zarah walked up to me and held me down as Ryuk got closer to me. " No. Please!" I begged. Ryuk grabbed my shoulders and slowly leaned for my neck. I closed my eyes and looked away. I could soon feel the sharp tooth touch my skin. "What's going on?" Claudia said. Claudia looked at the vampires and ran away. "Wait come back." I said, still in the hands of Ryuk. I then felt pain by my neck. I rubbed my neck and saw blood all over my hand. "Welcome to the afterlife!" Ryuk said.
I didn't have time to react to what happened. I ran after claudia. By the time I spotted her she was in the lobby of the hospital. "Claudia!" I yelled across the lobby. She ran out the door and I kept chasing after her. I reached the door and started burning. I fell to my knees and my skin started to peel fast. I felt hands pull me inside the hospital. "You will be fine." I heard Ryuk Say to me.
Ryuk picked me up and brought me back upstairs. "Ryuk, why didn't you burn?" I asked. "Because I'm a daywalker. We can be exposed to light, but you on the other hand, can't." I turned to see Zarah looking at me. She had the meanest look in her eyes. Ryuk put me down as we arrived at the door. "Now I want you to rest. It will heal your wounds." Ryuk said. Pressuring my wounds, I asked. "I thought you guys wanted to kill me earlier." I said, walking into my room. There was no answer. I turned around to notice they were gone.
I was really hurting so I took Ryuk's advice and took a nap. I couldn't sleep though, it felt really hot. My burns started to peel faster. I realized it was the curtains being open, letting the sun shine through. I got up and closed them. I then got back into bed. I couldn't stop thinking about what Claudia saw. I wonder if she told anyone.
It was the middle of the night when I woke up. I heard banging. I got up to see out my door. Looking out the door I see a girl banging her head on the wall beside my door. "Uh... miss?" She didn't look back to me. I slowly walked towards her. I noticed as I got closer she looked slowly towards me. "Are you okay?" I asked, reaching out for her shoulder. She quickly turned her head to me. It was claudia! Her eyes were pitch black. "Claudia?" An unknown force sent me flying back to my door. on the floor, I hear claudia mumble words. I pulled myself off the floor. "What are you saying?" I ask. "Why Didn't you tell me your secret!" Claudia screamed. She started crying. I grab her and turn her towards me. She was crying blood. Claudia grabbed my throat and pinned me against the wall. "Please... Stop!" I managed to choke out. She gripped my throat tighter, and tighter.
