I'm not scared anymore

Chapter twenty five: Sunshine

       I had no power to fight back. I had such an unreal feeling. I felt like i was out of my body, i could feel everything that happened to my body, but i couldn't move, i couldn't fight back. I was all alone.

       Sisters kept taking turns on my thighs. Last thing i saw before i lost my consciousness was Sister Susan and the expression on her face. She looked like she was enjoying herself? Then everything got blurry and slowly faded to black.

Ifrit's pov:

I can't take this anymore. Wherever i go i can hear her screams. I wish i could do something to help her, but Omega is right. I could end up to her position and then i would be no use to anyone.

       Sisters had been toying with her for over an hour now,  by the time, her screams got quieter until they stopped. I waited outside the room as sisters headed out of the room.

       Finally Sister Susan also came out of the room. "Fire, you can wait outside the room for, maybe like an hour before taking her back to the cell. "Why is that?" I asked. "I summoned you here to serve me, not to question me. Do better Fire." Susan said, heading to the hallways. "I'm sorry Sister Susan. It wasn't my intention. I apologize" I said. "That's what i thought. You wait here, i'm going to send Fire, Quintessence and Air back to look." Susan said. "Yes Sister." said.

        She continued her way, leaving me outside of the room. I felt anxious going to the room. I had no idea what was waiting for me there. Finally the hour had passed and i was allowed to go to the room. I stood up and headed to the door.

       I grabbed the door knob, slowly pushing the door open. The sight in front of me horrified me, it was even worse than i was expecting. I stood at the door frame looking at the unconscious ghoulette sitting in a chair, completely covered in blood. It looked like someone was murdered there. The floor was also covered in blood, her blood.

        I stepped into the room, heading closer to her. Was she even alive? I crouched next to her to see if she was even breathing. Luckily she was. Her skin was pale white, from the loss of blood. Her arms were full on cuts, that started from her wrists and went all the way to her shoulders. Her thighs were also full with cuts. They had pulled down her pants, which were now hanging on her ankles on the ground.

       "Are you awake?" I tried to shook her, but no response. Her body was completely limp. Damn it, i didn't even ask for her name. What can i do to help her? Maybe Copia knows? I untied her hands from the chair and lifted her to my arms. I had to hurry, she don't have much time.

       I held her in my arms in a bridal style, rushing out of the room. I headed straight to the basement where Copia was. I pushed out the door to the basement pretty roughly. "Copia! I need your help!" I yelled from the door. "Ifrit?" I heard from the bottom of the basement. "Copia, you have to help her." I said rushing down the stairs.

       Copia's face turned pale as he saw her in my arms. "Sunshine?" He said horrified. "Help her." I said. "Bring her here" Copia said. "What happened to her?" He asked. "Susan." I answered.

       I lowered her on the ground next to Copia. "Oh my satan, why would someone do something like that?" Copia said. "What can we do, she is not waking up." I said. "No, she is barely even breathing." Copia said. "We have to do something" I yelled. "We can't do anything for her here." Copia said. "Then where? We can't just take her to the hospital." I said. "We have to get her out of the church." Copia said. "But where and how." I asked.

        "Ifrit i know that this is a lot to ask, but could you take her to Aether?" Copia said. "Why Aether? She need a doctor and a hospital." I start. "And Copia i can't risk getting caught, i would end up the same way as she." I continued. "I don't mean to sound mean, but i know that you owe to Aether, now would be a great time to pay back the favor." Copia said. "Yes i owe Aether, i owe him my life, but what does all of this have to do with Aether?" I asked.
